Job Description
As a Senior Solutions Manager within the newly formed VAS Issuing Solutions team, you will be responsible for driving commercial and product success across our solutions portfolio in Europe. Your focus will be on two high-priority growth pillars for VAS Europe - Consumer Engagement and Visa Loyalty Solutions - where you will play a key role in defining the European VAS strategy in this space. You will take products from ideation to reality, ensuring the right commercial and technical foundations are in place to grow them into scalable and defensible solutions with clear value attribution for Visa and our clients.

Loyalty
- Assess and prioritise the opportunities for VAS to play in the Loyalty space, defining our pan-European value proposition and right to win in a fragmented and ever-evolving market.
- Build a deep understanding of Visa’s current loyalty capabilities in Europe, with a view to 1) select and scale existing programmes as a short-term revenue lever, 2) embed these programmes as part of a broader long-term loyalty play.
- Work with Global product owners to influence Visa’s long-term loyalty strategy, with an eye towards innovation and product improvements that ensure the needs of the European market are captured and addressed.
- Perform TAM sizing, business case formulation and development of commercial constructs to secure the necessary buy-in for our proposed approach.
- Lead discovery efforts with relevant internal and external teams to build a holistic understanding of what’s required for us to win in this space, covering resourcing, tech, partnerships, operating model etc.
Consumer Engagement (Tink)
Initial responsibilities will be focused on the launch and scaling of the Tink Merchant Information solution, a high priority VAS initiative for FY25:
- Closely co-ordinate with the Tink Product team to ensure the successful launch of the Merchant Information solution in Europe, including effective management of the E2E product lifecycle.
- Build the commercial and operational drumbeat to ensure we meet and exceed revenue targets in FY25, ensuring specialist sellers are equipped with the necessary information and collateral to facilitate sales efforts.
- Work with global teams to evolve the proposition and enable portability to non-European markets, with the goal of developing a unified VAS solution for transaction enrichment use cases.
- Identify, size and prioritise new growth levers for the solution, including market expansion efforts, new issuer segments, adjacent use cases, synergies with adjacent VAS solutions etc.
- Provide regular updates and reporting to all levels of Visa management on key metrics and objectives, adapting overall programme tactics and strategies to address challenges, issues, opportunities
- Spearhead ongoing workstreams with legal, compliance and data governance to ensure all necessary product pre-launch conditions have been met (NBIA, risk assessments, policy reviews etc.)
- Ensure the product proposition and storytelling is continuously refined based on customer feedback and market developments.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Proven track record of taking products from 0 to 1, with an understanding of the critical interplay between product strategy, commercialisation and GTM formulation. You should be equally comfortable spending your day on value proposition development, client pitches, refinement of commercial frameworks, and sales strategy.
- You have a natural inclination to look under the hood to understand how technologies work and are willing to put the extra miles in to quickly become a subject matter expert for your respective VAS (Value Added Services).
- You are a self-starter comfortable with ambiguity and change. You can progress projects independently and adapt to evolving internal and external forces to maximise likelihood of success.
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects, with the ability to influence across a highly matrixed environment. You feel comfortable pushing back when necessary and are willing to hold others accountable to ensure timely execution of deliverables.
- Strong analytical skills. You will be expected to synthesise large amounts of data and present findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders in a clear and cohesive manner.
- You have a bias for action, understanding what level information is needed to make a go, no-go decision. Having a can-do attitude with ownership of outcomes is critical for this role.
- Rigorous thinker, with the ability to transpose business and technical understanding to relevant market inputs with sales and product teams within Visa as well as with external client discussions.
- Curious and inquisitive problem solver. You methodically break down problems into smaller chunks and can come up with creative and novel ways to solve them.
