Job Description

Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) focuses on providing B2B solutions to large and mid-market corporates, small businesses and government organizations.  The team has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development and management of B2B solutions, as well as platform development. The Senior Manager, Commercial Solutions, will be responsible for supporting the team in growing the existing B2B portfolio, developing and bringing new solutions to the market, leading initiatives that enhance and/or expand distribution of existing Visa capabilities and executing on the overall business strategy. The role is a core part of the VCS team and will include identifying new opportunities, solutioning and implementing new business models and assisting the functional leads developing partnership opportunities with players that may be highly complex, strategic and cross-functional. In addition to the VCS team, the role will work closely with the client leads, regional and global product teams and stakeholders across the organization. The resource will be responsible for the appended activities.

Lead specific work effort pieces in designing and delivering business cases for new initiatives in strategic verticals which requires engaging with key Issuers and Fintech partners.

Work with Key Fintech Partners to expand distribution and consulting partners in VCA and external to enhance the value proposition and develop alternative business models

Support the team in driving a key set of strategic initiatives including managing vertical solutions along with differentiated B2B solutions to the market.

Leverage appropriate Visa assets and product management resources to deliver exceptional partner, business, issuer, acquirer value

Work across key Issuers to launch, manage and ramp up their Large Market programs

Facilitating the successful deployment of Visa’s digital payment solutions and B2B platform partnership programs to gain market share and accelerate volume growth and program growth

 

Qualifications

What you will need:

• Masters or Bachelor’s degree in business administration
• Minimum 8+ years’ experience in Payments, Business/Retail Banking, Cards or Commercial/Consumer Financial Services. Understanding of digital trends and new age payment solutions is important.
• Competency in Microsoft Office – Excel, PowerPoint, Word and ability to interpret and extract data.
• Good understanding of Visa Products and services is a plus.

Business and Technical Skills
• Good client engagement and communication skills. Should be comfortable interacting with and presenting to senior management of clients, Visa, merchant and fintech partners.
• Excellent analytical skills, strong business acumen and project management skills.
• Excellent written, verbal and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated negotiation and business development skills as the candidate requires to interact with senior professionals in financial institutions, Visa and alliance partners.
• Strong appreciation of technology and trends to be able to demonstrate thought leadership.
• Self-motivated, results driven, flexible, customer focused. Should be a strong team-player.
• Ability and experience of work in a multi-cultural, matrix environment is required.

What will also help:
• Execute initiatives required in India to meet key result areas.
• Recommend to key stakeholders the necessary structure, guidelines, and remedial action for initiatives to meet targets.
• Recommend to key stakeholder’s product development, platform enhancements and usage initiatives.
• Manage budgeted activities within designated time limits.
• Ensure compliance to Visa Inc policies and guidelines in relations to all Business products processes.
