Job Description

What's it all about?

In-car technology, the shift to sustainable travel and the regulatory transition are redefining the way fleets operate. In addition, the move towards Smart Cities is changing the way employers address mobility solutions to their employees. Within Visa, the Fleet and Business Mobility team are partnering with existing Energy Co’s and new mobility providers to develop solutions which meet the needs of commercial fleets today and tomorrow. This role is to develop, implement and innovate Visa’s product set for key clients in order to drive sales and revenue. In addition, bringing together the best solutions Visa has to offer in these segments and supporting the next wave of innovation!

What we expect you to do, day to day

  • Oversee the issuance of product implementations and enabler readiness in collaboration with Client Services teams.
  • Drive fleet issuance product initiatives, working across the payment acceptance ecosystem to ensure changes and developments are on track and aligned with strategic goals.
  • Collaborate with key clients and internal teams to ensure client requirements are accurately translated into product implementation strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define product requirements and ensure successful product launches.
  • Accelerate client implementations in acquiring, deliver solutions at scale, and champion product development workstreams in collaboration with the ecosystem.
  • Champion merchant system readiness for fleet commercial products by working with terminal vendors and software companies.
  • Design and deliver relevant product components for fuel discounts solutions for Europe, including partnering with technical teams and partners.
  • Engage with clients during the pre-sales phase to understand their requirements and provide expert insights on product development and issuance.
  • Work collaboratively with cluster, sales, client success, and global product teams to deliver value for clients, support innovation, and drive sales outcomes.
  • Act as a thought leader and champion of innovation. Consolidate client needs and corporate objectives across Mobility and Fleet, and translate these objectives into product design and innovation roadmaps. Apply payments expertise across B2B use cases.
  • Support and lead marketing activities across Fleet B2B Mobility, facilitating Visa’s thought leadership.
  • This is a product-focused role requiring sales engineering skills to enhance product and customer profitability. Develop an understanding of issuer and acquiring technically to launch commercial cards products.
  • Have a detailed understanding of all elements of Visa products across issuing and acquiring.
  • Maintain a curiosity about our customers and new technologies that are redefining this sector. Understand the growing market for Mobility services and how this direction will impact the sector.

Qualifications

  • Significant experience in a customer support role, sales engineering, and/or product management within financial services, payment cards, software, or information services.
  • In-depth knowledge of Authorizations, Clearing & Settlement, and back-office processing.
  • Strong understanding of payment networks and processing services.
  • Detailed knowledge of acquiring and issuing processing hosts, technical upgrades, and implementations, with the ability to shape products for clients in different markets.
  • Proven experience in product management, including product lifecycle management, roadmapping, and feature prioritization.
  • Self-starter with proven abilities in organizational, conceptual, and logical problem solving.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work on complex projects to determine business and customer needs, providing optimal solutions to meet these needs.
  • Client and sales focus with a proven ability to establish productive working relationships with various stakeholders.
  • Experience in product sales roles and solution design within the payment industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to work collaboratively across functions and geographies in a complex matrix environment.
  • Open-minded and excited about future technologies, willing to learn, and able to work in a multicultural environment.
  • Team player capable of developing strong internal and external relationships to ensure the uptake and delivery of Visa solutions.
  • Proficiency in one or more European languages is a plus.
  • Ability to travel across Europe for internal and external meetings and pitches as required.
