Job Description

Team Summary

Value Added Services (VAS) Sales Operations team is fundamental in driving sales effectiveness through strategic planning, sales process improvement, insights through data to support the business and stakeholders in decision making. Sales Operations team will foster collaboration and provide integral support to VAS leaders and sellers  in achieving their goals. This team is critical in supporting the sales business on a day to day basis.

What a Sales Operations Manager for Value Added Services (VAS) does at Visa:

The Sales Operations Manager will be a collaborative and detail-oriented team player within a variety of functional areas, including Sales, Product, Finance, Merchant Acquiring to name a few. The ideal candidate will have at least 8 years of sales support experience in a high-tech, software development, or SaaS delivery environment.

What we expect of you, day to day:

  • Additional responsibilities include: providing Sales and Client support to the APAC Sales organization on various matters ranging from order acceptance, quoting, best practices, pricing approvals, or liaising with other departments for responses and resolution.

  • Extreme attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities are must-have qualities.

  • Maintain and ensure field compliance of sales policies, procedures, and rules of engagement related to all aspects of Sales Operations including approval requirements, escalation processes, and compliance with standard guidelines.

  • Provide sales support regarding the structuring of MS Dynamics accounts and opportunities.

  • Review Pricing Quotes for accuracy and completeness, while ensuring quotes are approved within pricing and discount guidelines and adherent to policy.

  • Assist and support the sales teams with processes, training, and documentation. Prepare training materials and ability to present in large group settings.

  • Recommend efficient workflows within the MS Dynamics environment as it relates to supporting the APAC Sales Team.

  • Introduce improvements to improve accuracy of processing orders that increase efficiencies for existing and new processes.

  • Recognize opportunities and drive internal improvements and proficiencies within the Sales Operations process.

  • Provide adhoc support to sales teams on Service Level Agreement drafting, RFP Responses, Audits and Novation Agreements

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • Minimum 8 years relevant experience, with at least 3-4 years' experience in a Sales environment for a Hi-Tech/Software development Company.
  • Working knowledge of MS Dynamics and Apttus CPQ as well as an understanding and experience with the broader sales tools landscape.
  • MS – Dynamics experience a plus.
  • Strong work ethic and self-starter, able to effectively manage multiple priorities and adapt to change within a fast-paced business environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Excellent communications skills, with the ability to communicate and present effectively to internal teams in both 1:1 and group settings.
  • Ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment and pick up new skills quickly
