The Product and Solutions team in Vietnam is a critical function in delivering the expansion of Visa credentials, core consumer products, promoting payment innovation, accelerate digital payments and market-leading payment solutions that drive client satisfaction and business growth.

What a Product Manager, Grow Modern Credential, Vietnam and Laos does at Visa:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Product Manager to join our team to drive the growth of Modern Credential which includes Flex, Visa Instalment in the market. The position will have significant interaction with IPVMC cluster and Regional Hub Product & Commercialization teams and collaborate with cross-functional teams within Visa such as Sales, Consulting and Analytics, Marketing and Client Services.

Important to the role are a deep understanding of the payments landscape, a customer-obsessed mindset to understand our clients’ needs, and a strong business acumen to achieve long-term growth. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

  • Support the lead of Modern Credential by Execute activities throughout the sales cycle such as sales pitch, product demos/webinars, commercial offer, contracting, optimization, and audit management.
  • Expand Modern Credential offerings by incorporating new sales pipelines from Tier 3, Sales Engine, and non-financial institution clients, in addition to our key clients.
  • Support the launch of new product initiatives, product enhancements, and acceleration plans.
  • Assess the feasibility of rolling out new products and solutions into the cluster, understand and provide local market requirements that will influence the global product roadmap, and develop go-to-market and commercialization plans.
  • Engage with clients during & post the sales journey to pitch, negotiate commercials and showcase value from usage.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis to senior management.
  • Implement new solutions and strategies essential for achieving country OKRs, including initiatives like Click-to-Pay and PassKey.
  • Ensure successful adoption of Network Performance Drive 3.0 across market.

Qualifications

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s Degree required.
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in retail banking financial services with demonstrated expertise in product development and or marketing communications.
  • Familiarity with product management and technologies and systems used in payment.
  • Deep understanding of banking operations and or payment schemes, including products and services
  • Wide knowledge of how the brand, product platforms, and rules interact for existing and new payment solutions.
  • Good commercial acumen.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills are needed to influence direction and change attitudes and decisions of senior level international bankers
  • Strong self-management skills with demonstrable drive and energy
  • Possess customer facing as well as sales experience, and proven negotiation skills
  • Own professional knowledge and skills across a range of functions including strategy, marketing, operations, budgetary accounting, and administration
  • Strategic and innovative thinker who is also capable of strong execution
  • Strong communication and influencing skills, to work at all levels

What will also help:

  • Knowledge of Visa business and products preferred,
  • Domain knowledge in Consumer products, Payment, or Financial Technology,
  • In-market experience and/or knowledge of payments regulation and industry trends preferred,
  • Knowledge of competitive products from other schemes/competitors is a plus.
  • Advanced PowerPoint and Excel skills required, Data Science background would be a bonus.
