  • Work with product leaders to provide key input to define payments and product platform strategy.
  • Write requirements and transform business requirements into detailed use cases.
  • Identify user pain points and design solutions holistically.
  • Prioritize features in an agile way as market needs and development resources evolve.
  • Engage with cross functional engineering teams to determine the best technical solution and implementation timelines.
  • Perform sprint planning and grooming of user story backlog.
  • Design user experiences and build mockups for product ideas.
  • Perform User Acceptance Testing.
  • Define KPIs, track and measure success against KPIs and SLA.
  • Build presentations for executives, internal and external stakeholders.
  • Build business cases and pricing models, supporting commercialization efforts.
  • Work with operation and engineering teams to develop and roll out operational support models.
  • Partner with business and technology teams globally to communicate and support sales enablement for new features, listen and gather feedback, and cultivate insights to inform product roadmaps.
  • Domestic and International travel required.
  • Position reports to the Foster City, CA office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field and 2 years of experience in the job offered or in a product management-related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following:
  • Translating client or user needs into technical requirements for developers;
  • Software service development methodologies;
  • RESTful API architectures;
  • Taking an analytical and data-driven approach towards product prioritization and delivery;
  • Distributed systems design; and
  • API usability.

Additional Information

Worksite: Foster City, CA

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: Domestic and International travel required.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $132,300.00 USD to $211,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
