Led by Visa’s Chief Data Officer, the Global Data Office coordinates high-impact, complex, company-wide projects related to data business strategy, critical investments, policy development, and marketplace execution. Working closely with Visa’s Chief Privacy Officer, the Technology organization, the wider data community, and the full set of Visa’s global lines of business, the Global Data Office is evolving Visa’s data-related work with momentum and enthusiasm. As a Product Analyst for AI Knowledge Assets at Visa, you will be responsible for enhancing the adoption of Gen AI, developing roadmaps for metadata and taxonomy tools, and evaluating knowledge management tools. You will also manage stakeholder feedback and performance metrics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify opportunities to enhance and fast track AI adoption within Visa, leveraging your understanding of AI applications.
  • Develop and implement a roadmap for metadata and taxonomy tools that are essential for AI.
  • Evaluate various knowledge management tools and make informed decisions on the best fit for Visa’s AI ecosystem.
  • Create data-driven user stories and prioritize tasks to ensure timely delivery of tool implementations (both UI & backend).
  • Identify opportunities for improvement and incorporate feedback from stakeholders, data repository owners, and end users to refine AI tools and processes.
  • Manage escalations and bottlenecks by providing effective solutions for mitigation.
  • Define, track, and own performance and adoption metrics for AI asset tools.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 3 or more years of work experience with a bachelor’s degree or at least 1 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters/MBA /JD/MD)

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with AI implementation and hands-on technical implementation in an Agile environment.
  • Understanding of how metadata is used in the development of AI applications.
  • Proficiency in SQL, Python, and LLM for basic data analysis to identify pain points and prioritize tasks.
  • Experience in implementing AI/ML projects, particularly prompt engineering & RAG.
  • Familiarity with different knowledge management tools & development of APIs
  • A desire to build 0-1 products from the ground up.
  • Experience with Agile delivery, managing scrum teams, and using tools like Jira and Jira Align.
  • Experience working in global organizations, collaborating with stakeholders, partners, and development teams worldwide to gather regional and global requirements.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $102,300 to $160,600 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
