About the Network Integrations team
The Network Integrations Team for Accounts in Visa Direct is responsible for the seamless integration of Visa Direct services with various financial institutions and payment networks. We enable cross-border payments across the world ensuring that Visa Direct’s capabilities are effectively deployed, maintained, and optimized to facilitate quick, secure, and reliable transactions.
What to expect
- The Product Function is responsible for creating and building a world class cross-border payments solution, supporting a portfolio of products and adding sustainable value to the business. This role will be a Product Owner, responsible for gathering and analysing business requirements and supporting development teams to evaluate and prioritise backlogs. This may include:
- Coordinating a scrum team of business analysts, technical analysts and developers and providing ongoing guidance and knowledge transfer to less tenured Product Owners
- Lead multiple product development work streams across the business.
- Work with stakeholders to understand the business objectives and translate these into requirements to feed into the Product roadmap.
- Ensure the Product Backlog is visible, transparent, and clear to all, including dependencies and priorities based on the overall strategy.
- Support testing, training and implementation activities, identify and document emerging business requirements to ensure the successful delivery of the overall business and technology solutions.
- Create features to support the evolution and evaluation of new products or network products. Participate in feature prioritisation: Present the vision to the teams, highlight any upcoming milestones and approve prioritised quarterly objectives
Qualifications
- You have got 3+ years in a product ownership, or scrum master in an agile team
- You have 5+ years experience in payments industry, FX, cross border payments, SWIFT payments, ACH payments, ISO 20022, global instant payments schemes
- Proven experience working in an Agile methodology environment (e.g. SCRUM, DSDM, Lean/Kanban).
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written & oral) and stakeholder management with an ability to translate business needs to a technical team
- You have defined process mapping, driven data transformation, migration and reconciliation projects
- Good technical understanding of web applications and APIs. Solid technical competence in XML, JSON and other message syntax and basic Java knowledge.
