Job Description

As part of Marketing Services, the Marketing Manager will support the Director Marketing Services in identifying and creating new business opportunities for our clients and Visa to grow brand and payments, while strengthening our relationships and driving thought leadership in the payments industry.

The Marketing Manager will drive client consultations to uncover needed product and payment marketing opportunities, and develop and implement holistic marketing plans, and measure campaigns, events and sponsorship activations. 

  • Lead campaign planning with an audience first approach, ensuring that all content and marketing strategy is aligned with brand objectives and resonates with target audiences. 
  • Assist in shaping the digital strategy and take charge of digital initiatives and campaigns, leveraging a comprehensive grasp of the market landscape to grow digital acquisition. 
  • Develop and execute demand generation strategies to enhance customer utilization of product and services, fostering deeper engagement, long term loyalty, and revenue growth. 
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams like sales and customer experience teams to understand customer needs, pain points, and success stories, using this information to tailor marketing efforts accordingly and create marketing campaigns. 
  • Regularly analyze marketing campaign performance, utilizing key metrics to measure success and identify areas for improvement. 
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to leadership based on data driven analysis. 
  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively to achieve business goals and objectives. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD
  • Adaptive mindset and ability to pivot and develop solutions when faced with challenges
  • Solid project management skills to successfully manage projects to budget and time
  • Creative thinking and problem solving
  • Ability to translate data into insights and a compelling story
  • Ability to collaborate and influence key internal and external stakeholders as well as client
  • Experience in brand management or digital marketing. Consultative selling experience is preferred
  • Experience in delivering end to end marketing campaigns and events including ongoing measurement, evaluation and optimization.
