Job Description

Reporting to the Head of Marketing Services GCC, the role will be responsible for leading the complete Client Marketing strategy and execution for co-brand programs across the GCC region with a goal of achieving Visa’s business and brand objectives.

Summary of responsibilities:

  • Program Management: Oversee the day-to-day marketing activities for existing co-brand card programs, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives and partner agreements.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and implement annual marketing plans for each co-brand program, including budget allocation, channel strategy, and performance measurement.
  • Partner Collaboration: Build and maintain strong relationships with co-brand partners, acting as the primary point of contact for marketing initiatives and ensuring seamless communication and execution.
  • Campaign Development & Execution: Lead the development and execution of integrated marketing campaigns across multiple channels (e.g., digital, direct mail, email, social media, events) to drive card acquisition, activation, and usage.
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports on program performance, analyzing data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement. Use data-driven insights to optimize campaigns and maximize ROI.
  • Budget Management: Manage marketing budgets for assigned programs, ensuring efficient resource allocation and accurate forecasting.
  • Competitive Analysis: Monitor competitor activity and identify best practices in the co-brand card marketing space. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and emerging technologies.
  • Compliance & Regulatory: Ensure all marketing activities comply with relevant regulations and legal guidelines.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, product, analytics, and legal, to ensure successful program execution.
  • Digital Marketing Transformation: Contribute to the development and launch of new marketing solutions aimed at accelerating digital marketing maturity with clients.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in marketing, preferably within the financial services industry, with a focus on credit card programs.
  • Proven track record of successfully managing and growing co-brand card programs.
  • Strong understanding of credit card marketing principles, including acquisition, activation, usage, and retention.
  • Excellent analytical and data interpretation skills, with experience using data to drive marketing decisions.
  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools and CRM systems.
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with partners.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Detail-oriented and results-driven.
  • Marketing Commercial acumen, Marketing data familiarity and Influencing skills are critical.
  • Significant experience in marketing with a strong brand management, campaign planning and execution, marketing planning, target setting and delivery track record.
  • Should understand key P&L drivers and leveraging the relevant aspects to build effective business cases.
  • Demonstrated track record in the management of external clients, agencies and the development of through the line campaign materials.
  • Sales exposure and proven negotiation skills
  • Must be willing to travel as relevant within Visa safety and security policies
