Visa Consulting and Analytics (VCA) is the consulting arm of Visa, and drives tangible, impactful results for clients. Drawing on our expertise in consulting, data analytics, digital marketing and economics, VCA solves the most strategic problems for our clients.

Within VCA exists Visa Managed Services (VMS), a team of global consultants dedicated to helping our clients grow their businesses through strategic execution and implementation support. 

Specific Responsibilities include 

  • Lead project delivery to drive the implementation of recommendations related to product development, partnerships and alliances, data and digital engagement, and technology action and insights. 

  • Manage vendor engagement and negotiate contracts with vendors. 

  • Design, implement, and program-manage deliverables related to product performance. 

  • Craft proposals with guidance from leadership, like competitive analysis.  

  • Develop new products and services, including build, setup, technical aspects, and go-to-market strategy. 

  • Manage teams within complex project structures to enable project delivery, with support from internal resources and external vendors. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
  • Master’s Degree in related fields a plus.
  • 3-4 years of professional experience (at least 2 years in Payment Industry, Consulting, Strategy, or financial institutions)

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in project and program management within financial services, preferably in banking, fintech, or consulting. 
  • Expertise in project P&L management, tracking, and acting on key business KPIs such as revenue, margin, and expenses. 

  • Relevant depth of experience in the cards and payments business, product development and management, digital engagement, and delivery. 

  • Experience handling senior client stakeholders in retail and business banking, cards, and payments, and in functions like technology, operations, and risk. 

  • An entrepreneurial mindset to identify and develop new business opportunities. 

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor. 

  • Strong team leadership skills with a collaborative, diplomatic, and flexible style. Able to work effectively in a matrixed organization. 

  • Detail-oriented, ensuring the highest level of quality and rigor in reports and data analysis. 

  • Excellent presentation skills, including strong oral and written capabilities. 

  •  Bilingual Spanish/English (spoken/written).
