Job Description

Specific scope of work and responsibilities includes:
•    Support the execution of VCA’s Digital strategy across Andino countries.

•    Build a commercial agenda and digital project pipeline across Visa’s Clients in the region.
•    Participate as subject matter expert in relevant industry forums. 
•    Develop methodologies, frameworks and approaches to evaluate Client’s digital status, envision priority transformational state and design implementation roadmaps.
•    Guide Clients in the adoption of Visa’s Digital assets and capabilities.
•    Partner with peers in other functional areas (e.g.: Products, Innovation, Marketing, Sales, Risk) to devise, develop and implement go-to-market strategies.
•    Assist in the lifecycle execution of digital consulting engagements across the Andino region through digital know how and expertise.
•    Crosspollinate project experiences and outcomes across Andino and global markets.
•    Anticipate Client’s needs by continuously researching and testing concepts of emerging digital capabilities and ensure inclusion in projects.
•    Help scale the digital practice through augmentation, standardization and streamlining.
•    Develop data driven insights to inform and guide digital practice decisions.
•    Help identify and shape potential digital opportunities with market leads.

 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

•Bachelor's degree required, ideally in quantitative field (e.g. engineering, economics, computer science, business administration, finance…).
•Master’s Degree in related fields a plus.
•5+ years of relevant experience in financial services industry, payments, consulting or similar.
•Technological driven mindset, digitally savvy and up-to-date with latest market and industry innovation trends.
•Problem solving ability with strategic focus on influencing incremental growth. Understanding of card and payment P&L and critical factors driving profitability.
•Strong analytical skills, with demonstrated intellectual and analytical rigor.
•Self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
•Excellent communication, story-telling and presentation skills
•Team player with agile focus.
•Passionate, self-motivated, results oriented individual with the ability to handle numerous projects concurrently.
•English and Spanish
