The Role

The in-country Product Manager will report to the Head of Product & VAS Solutions. The primary responsibility of this role is to assist financial institutions (FIs) and non-financial institutions by offering technology solutions that enable them to efficiently provide core banking services and develop scalable financial products. Additionally, the Product Manager will drive digital enablement by leveraging Visa's cutting-edge digital technologies and solutions for merchants, acquirers, and payment gateways (PG). This includes driving consumer core product activation for debit, credit, and prepaid products, both conventional and Shariah, through the acceleration of multiple solutions, including global wallet adoption and usage. Furthermore, the Product Manager will focus on delivering the latest and scalable acceptance solutions to small businesses, thereby enhancing their operational capabilities. The Product Manager will work closely with clients in driving programs and implementing product solutions.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with financial institutions and non-financial institutions to implement cutting-edge technology solutions for core banking services and financial product development.
  • Work closely with other product functions to drive digital enablement initiatives, utilizing Visa's advanced digital technologies to benefit merchants, acquirers, and payment gateways.
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the active user base for consumer core products, including debit and credit (both conventional and Shariah).
  • Facilitate the adoption and usage of global wallet and other relevant payment solutions.
  • Deliver and implement scalable acceptance solutions tailored for small businesses, enhancing their operational efficiency.
  • Partner with clients to drive successful program implementations and product solutions.
  • Lead the implementation and bring to market prepaid card solutions, ensuring regulatory compliance and successful product launch.

Qualifications

What you will need:
• Minimum 8 years of relevant product development and/or management experience in Retail Banking, Consumer Financial Services, Cards payment or fintech
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment and prior experience at Visa or the payments industry is a plus
• Ability to work with various data (including financial) and drive actionable initiatives
• Ability to negotiate with third parties to create value for customers' benefit
• Self-motivated, self-starter, and highly driven
• Vision and passion for our business, with high energy and intelligence
• Hands-on, entrepreneurial and nimble, while also able to navigate a globally matrixed environment
• Ability to work within a complex and often ambiguous environment, and to influence higher management and other relevant parties
