Job Description

Team Summary

The Cross-Border team is a global team that has the mandate to develop Visa’s strategy to drive accelerated growth in Cross-Border payments and deliver against regional priorities to efficiently and effectively support our Clients. The Cross-border team leverage data & insights, best practices from across the Cross-border payments, travel and e-commerce industries and emerging technologies to ideate on, propose and execute on initiatives cross-functionally to create value for both Visa and our Clients business.

This role will have the opportunity to contribute towards creating a single unifying strategy and investment plan, with clear lines of accountability, to drive the business forward and drive initiatives to capitalize on near term opportunities.  This role will report to the Senior Director AP Cross Border and will play a role in redefining Visa’s Cross-border strategy and bringing this to market.

What a Manager, AP Cross-Border does at Visa:

  • Support the development and implementation of a new AP Cross-border strategy, including operating model, value propositions, go to market etc
  • Develop & implement enhancements to pipeline management processes to systematically identify and target XB rich opportunities
  • Identify & roll out enhancements to deal structuring processes with associated best practices to drive success with winning XB rich deals
  • Ideate on enhancements to XB value propositions & develop Client facing content to drive net new and optimization opportunities
  • Define approaches for attacking XB rich verticals and segments such as Education, wholesale B2B travel and e-commerce
  • Develop tracking and measurement framework to effectively monitor business performance across key XB metrics
  • Help Clients grow their XB business through the development & deployment of tools, packaged capabilities & setplays
  • Collaborate cross-functionally and across geographies to develop and execute on cross corridor activities.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in product management, strategy, consulting or innovation.
• Experience in either banking/financial services sector or Technology/Fintech sector experience.
• Strong sense of ownership and project management skills, appropriate to fast-paced business environment.
• Proven track record of analytical and problem-solving skills with demonstrated intellectual rigor
• Excellent interpersonal skills, strong verbal, and written communications skills - capable of developing well-structured communications and delivering presentations to large audiences
• Strong influencing skills and the ability to thrive in a networked, matrixed organization
