Job Description

In this mission critical role, you will be responsible for the supervision, management and technical leadership for a team of engineers who support the EA Server system. There are over 3,200 production deployments worldwide. This role includes working closely with development and project teams for requirements analysis, design review and implementation of new features and functions for developing and deploying all aspects of future EA Server releases. Your team will be responsible for 3rd level support of ALL EA products including the EA Server, EA Proxy, EA Gateway, EA Internet, EA Client Connection and the EA Manager. The team will be the primary interface to O and I and will work on strategic initiatives, as well as the rollout of new systems to production. You are expected to be a visible leader and role model amongst the wider Singapore based PPD organization as well as being an ambassador for the same to various external Visa partners

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs. 

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
10+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 7 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 4 years of work experience with a PhD, OR 13+ years of relevant work experience.

Preferred Qualifications
10 plus years of software and systems engineering experience. A background of working in large software engineering organizations is required with progressively higher responsibility.

At lease 5 years of experience leading a team of 5 plus engineers. Must have solid experience working with cross geographic teams.

Must have 10 plus years of experience in deploying, maintaining and supporting mission critical systems in a high availability business environment.

Prior experience in the payments or similar space covering the engineering and implementation of fault tolerant systems is highly desirable.

A proven track record of leading systems implementation, hands on experience with Level 3 support, familiarity with usage of tools like Ask Now. Experience in working closely with Development and Operational teams is required.

Must have specific and demonstrable experience in improving software productivity, work processes, development methods and production support capability.

Experience with operating systems, Unix Linux and networking based software development including TCP IP is required. An excellent understanding of security based technologies is required.

The role requires superlative communications skill both verbal and written.

The role will require to be available for on call support.
