We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Product Manager to lead the development of insurance benefit products for credit cards. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong project management skills to oversee end-to-end product development and ensure alignment with company objectives. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments and excel at managing cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development and launch of credit card insurance benefit products, defining product features
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer needs in the credit card insurance benefit space.
  • Develop and refine go-to-market strategies to ensure alignment with overall business goals.
  • Analyze market dynamics and customer data to inform data-driven product decisions.
  • Evaluate product performance using key metrics.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with strategic priorities.
  • Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and track project milestones effectively.
  • Maintain detailed project plans and communicate progress updates to leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive digital transformation of insurance benefits to enhance customer experience through innovative, digital-first solutions.
  • Collaborate with technology teams to ensure alignment with digital platforms, APIs, and security requirements.
  • Stay up-to-date with advancements in insurances and incorporate innovative features to remain competitive.
  • Build and manage relationships with third-party insurance providers and vendors to deliver high-quality products.
  • Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with external partners.
  • Ensure vendors adhere to regulatory standards and meet customer expectations.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
6 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or 4 or more years of relevant experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or up to 3 years of relevant experience with a PhD

•5+ years of experience in product development, project management, or related fields (experience in insurances is a plus).
•Demonstrated experience leading end-to-end product development and go-to-market execution.
•Strong understanding of budgeting, cost analysis, and performance metrics.
•Proficiency in analytics tools to drive data-driven decision-making.
•Familiarity with OKRs and other performance management tools.
•Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives with competing priorities.
•Strong organizational skills with experience in using project management tools.
•Excellent interpersonal skills to influence internal and external stakeholders.
•Ability to foster a collaborative team environment.
•Proven Strategic and Problem-Solving Approach.
•Fluency in English and Spanish is required, Portuguese is a plus.
•Familiarity with regulatory requirements for insurance products and credit card benefits.
•Experience using project management tools.
•MBA or equivalent qualification in business, finance or related field is a plus.
