Job Description

This is a client facing and established professional individual contributor role responsible for managing routine and non-routine activities along with identifying and resolving issues of mid to high complexity.

This position is at a professional level and requires an individual to work independently while receiving moderate guidance.

 

  • Provide Project Management implementation and configuration support for moderate/complex projects, with assigned Visa clients and/or in an assigned market. Problems faced are expected to be difficult and mildly complex.

  • Meet all milestones and deliverables in a timely manner, comply with Visa Internal Artifacts and ensure customer expectations are met and/or exceeded. Implementing projects within SLOs.

  • Coordinate   with clients to understand card programs, communicate best of breed solutions, document requirements, and facilitate new card program installations without customer impact. Take ownership of associated tasks, performing a lead role in driving change to completion.

  • Present opportunities to clients with the objective of increasing performance and further educating clients on Visa’s programs, products, and services.

  • Prepare and maintain detailed project Artifacts, including project plans, status reports, meeting minutes, issues log, and identify and mitigate risks, in support of client projects and/or initiatives.

  • Apply Visa processes and approaches to be in line with client requirements.

  • Coordinate technical resources, planning and monitoring of certification testing, and negotiate with department and division heads to secure resources required to complete projects.

  • Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa clients and internal and external stakeholders.

  • Report customer project accomplishments and deliverables to management on a regular basis.

  • Proactively identify and recommend opportunities for internal process improvement resulting in improved efficiency and effectiveness, and increased customer satisfaction.

  • Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to achieve results as part of an effective team, and ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task under deadlines.

  • Escalate projects that are in jeopardy and work with your direct manager as appropriate to make decisions that bring needed resources to resolve any issues.

  • Proficient in managing both operational and strategic decision-making processes with exemplary organization. Skilled at implementing a high volume of projects concurrently.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

- 4 years of related work experience (Project Management, Program Management, Customer support role, Financial Institutions, Electronic Payments institutions) with a bachelor’s degree or more than 2 years with Advanced Degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD).
- Experience using standard MS Office tools (e.g., MS Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, MS Teams, Dynamics, Power BI)
- PMP or other project management education or certification.
- Excellent time management, organization, planning skills, and teamwork are essential.
- Proficient in incident management post-project deployment.
- Able to set priorities, influence others, and manage customer expectations.
- Capable of working efficiently under the demands of stringent deadlines.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation and strong interpersonal skills are required.
- Communication fluency in English and Spanish. Portuguese is a plus.
- Comfort with public speaking and the ability to relay information clearly and confidently in large groups.
- A Plus to have experience in Electronic Payments.
