Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Lead project management of implementations for Visa client institutions and processors in assigned region to ensure customer expectations are exceeded.
  • Manage routine and non routine, moderately complex processing and change requests, as well as support client initiatives.
  • Act as liaison for the client, provide problem management, proactive identification of processing efficiencies, service change support and system enhancement support.
  • Coordinate internal resources to accomplish Visa and client objectives and ensure processing system performance standards are met and that the client perspective is represented within the organization.
  • Assess operational opportunities to increase service quality or efficiency.
  • Prepare and maintain detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs.
  • Build and enhance positive working relationships with Visa client institutions, processors, and internal stakeholders.
  • Represent client system and operational requirements to internal Visa organizations.
  • Responsible for own workflow assignments and must be able to take the initiative to resolve problems and meet deadlines.
  • Coordinate internal Visa resources to ensure delivery on commitments.
  • Report client project accomplishments and deliverables to management monthly.
  • Update and enhance internal support documents to assist internal and external stakeholders. 
  • Support biannual business enhancements and all Visa mandates.

Qualifications

  • Experience in project management, especially in leading implementation projects for client institutions and processors in the financial services sector.
  • Proven track record of managing both routine and non-routine, moderately complex processing and change requests.
  • Strong experience in client relationship management, acting as a liaison and providing problem management and proactive support.
  • Demonstrated ability to coordinate internal resources to meet client and organisational objectives, ensuring high standards of processing system performance.
  • Ability to assess operational opportunities to enhance service quality and efficiency.
  • Skilled in preparing and maintaining detailed project plans, status reports, and issues logs.
  • Ability to represent client system and operational requirements to internal teams effectively.
  • Experience in coordinating resources to ensure delivery on commitments and reporting project accomplishments to management.
  • Competence in updating and enhancing internal support documents to assist stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with supporting biannual business enhancements and meeting industry mandates.
