Job Description

Visa is looking for a Financial Data Analyst to join the Center of Excellence (“CoE”) Data Analytics team in Global Revenue Operations. Global Revenue Operations is responsible for managing revenue operational activities in Visa. The CoE Data Analytics team supports these activities by developing and maintaining mining, advanced analytics and reporting tools for revenue analysis and operational performance monitoring, and developing tools that facilitate process automation. These tools help Visa analyze voluminous revenue and metric data for anomalies, detect or prevent revenue leakage, increase efficiency in revenue processes and/ or enhance management reporting and communication. The team also helps drive global standardization on revenue processes and facilitates regional collaborations on process improvements.

The Financial Data Analyst will participate in the review of business and data processes to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of Revenue Ops operations.  Key responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain automation tools for revenue operational and reporting processes

  • Develop and/ or maintain reporting dashboards/visuals

  • Transform and harmonize data across multiple data sources and formats

  • Maintain effective data operations for regular reporting and control processes

  • Prepare statistical reports for publication as well as ad-hoc analyses and reports as needed. Develop strong partnerships to drive process and system efficiencies

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications
2 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD, or PhD)

Preferred Qualifications
3 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or more than 2 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD)
•Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business Analytics or equivalent, with at least 3 years of work experience in a data-driven or analytics-driven role
•Experience in the usage of Python or R in data-driven analytics
•Expertise in using advanced Microsoft Excel modules such as PowerQuery or VBA
•Experience in productivity and collaboration tools such as Microsoft Teams and SharePoint
•Experience in using SharePoint for Microsoft automated workflows and forms, including PowerAutomate and PowerApps, is a plus
•Good working knowledge of English and Spanish
•Excellent project and time management working as part of a Global team across multiple time zones
•Self-starter with the ability to work in a dynamic and evolving environment
•Ability to effectively work independently and as part of a global team
•Strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
