Job Description
This role will assist in the development and smooth running of Visa in the Netherlands by providing project, communication and event coordination, and with secretarial and administrative support for the Dutch Visa team. Visa is seeking an ambitious professional with exceptional analytical and communication skills and a keen interest in international business operations.

Essential Functions
Support the Dutch team in the delivery of projects for Visa clients across various domains, from payments, digital, products to strategy.
Organize strategy-to-market activities including but not limited to events, workshops, client meetings, content development etc.
Review and support Dutch-native language communications for marketing and PR and Public Affairs purposes
Manage, forecast and update event planner reports
Support the Dutch team with ongoing operations, administration and team building activities.
Support Dutch leadership with broad secretarial services, including meeting & travel scheduling, organizing incoming executive visits, and administrative and expense claims.
Work closely with all business functions internally and co-ordinate appropriate meetings with clients and information management.
Co-ordinate and organize various meetings and off-sites, including budgets.
Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders and ensure swift payment of invoices
Establish, maintain and develop good relationships within to ensure that global initiatives and best practices throughout Visa are effectively introduced in The Netherlands.
Ensure the smooth circulation of all internal communications.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
- Must have a Middelbaar Beroepsonderwijs (MBO) or further advanced degree
- Must have working experience as project, event and/or administrative support
- Strong PC skills and high proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite products (Excel, Outlook, Word, and PowerPoint)
- Must speak both Dutch and English fluently
- Comfortable in an international work environment with different cultures
- Innovative and creative thinker with a track record of delivery and proven ability to manage several projects concurrently and see them through from conception to conclusion
- Experience in retail or service sector organization, financial services experience would be advantageous
- Must be proactive and solution oriented, looking for ways to add value and assist the team
- Be self-motivated, adept at working independently or in a team on multiple and varied tasks, often under pressure, and capable of working collaboratively with employees from all levels of the organization.
- Good knowledge of Visa systems and products
- Prior experience organizing and leading meetings
- Experience with creative thinking and solution development
