Job Description

Visa’s Talent Acquisition team is seeking a Director, Executive Talent Acquisition to join our diverse industry leading Talent Acquisition team.  The Director, Executive Talent Acquisition will successfully lead the recruitment and hiring process for senior-level executives, including attracting, sourcing and hiring top industry talent that will impact the greater global organization.  This position will play an essential role in driving overall company growth.

Essential Functions

  • Develops and deploys client specific recruiting strategies and drives a best-in-class recruitment process to achieve ambitious executive talent hiring targets
  • Manages a robust portfolio of executive searches, balances competing priorities with ease and organization, and collaborates with Researchers and Coordinators to execute a consistent end-to-end recruiting process with excellence for every client and candidate
  • Designs, implements, and executes effective and proactive Global Talent Acquisition strategies and proposes operational efficiencies to Global TA Leadership that ensure consistency across the greater TA organization
  • Performs advanced reporting and data analytics of assigned function or market utilizing Microsoft Excel, ATS, CRM, and Talent Insights tools and presents to TA Leadership and clients. Applies insights to identify and solve problems proactively
  • Acts as the Executive Talent advisor for senior hiring managers and people business partners, understands and anticipates their unique talent needs, provides expert advice, communicates in an organized and strategic manner, and ensures alignment throughout the recruitment process
  • Stays informed on industry trends, competitive landscape, and market conditions to provide strategic insights and recommendations
  • Partners successfully with cross-functional TA Leadership Teams to include, but not limited to our Sourcing, Coordinating, Onboarding, DEI, Compensation, and Talent Partner teams to achieve shared hiring goals
  • Participates in special projects as assigned, such as process improvement, candidate engagement, data management and analytics and branding
  • Prioritize multiple functions, tasks and manages time efficiently in a fast paced, changing work environment
  • Enhances Visa’s employer brand by ensuring an excellent candidate experience at all steps of the TA process

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
  • Prior experience managing recruitment teams within the Fin Tech industry
  • Team player and leader with the ability to work virtually with global team-members
  • Strong problem-solving skills
  • Exceptional planning, organization, and project management skills
  • Prior experience leading multiple TA Managers and teams within a remote or hybrid work environment
  • Experience with an Applicant Tracking System, SmartRecruiters a plus
  • Highly advanced Reporting and Data analytics experience to identify hiring challenges and gaps
  • Deep experience creating and implementing Talent Acquisition best practices and operational efficiencies
  • Results oriented, self-motivated, organized, and resourceful
  • Detail oriented with a proven track record of juggling multiple tasks and meeting various deadlines
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Highly proficient computer skills in Microsoft Windows, Outlook, PowerPoint and SharePoint

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,900.00 to 213,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
