Visa Commercial Solutions focuses on providing B2B solutions to large and midmarket corporates, small businesses and government organisations. The team has overall responsibility for all aspects of business strategy, development and management of B2B solutions, as well as platform development.

The Director supporting Small Business Insight & Spend Management Solutions will be responsible for leading a team to develop and manage requirements that will build on and improve a suite of products at a variety of maturity stages. These products use a combination of common and uncommon data sources applicable to small business to enhance the ability for small business owners and operators to optimise their financial operations while decreasing the time and knowledge required to achieve incremental outcomes.
In addition to continuing to build the product, this role will be responsible for client facing demos, development of client implementation capabilities, partnering with account executives, sales as a sales engineer and internal risk organisations to obtain approvals when required.
Lead or partner on the development of requirements to drive user experience enhancements, data modelling, data processing, native mobile, web applications, client facing APIs, Generative AI utilisation, and key user workflows to enhance current business processes.
Lead or partner to develop, optimise and utilise client & end user feedback to improve the product features, product positioning, implementation capabilities and more.
Support the product owner to align the roadmap to the requirements of new markets, client needs, end user needs and dependencies.
Develop a framework and practice for managing technical debt and drive adoption throughout product and engineering.
Be closely involved with the engineering & technical product management team to optimise for quality and eliminate barriers when possible.
Lead and partner in the product strategy work to include additional Visa product capabilities into the roadmap, identify new use cases to expand or enhance the product positioning, or pivot the product.
This position may or may not be a people manager however, it does require strong leadership to drive outstanding outcomes for Visa & its clients.
This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
• At least 10 or more years of work experience with a bachelors degree or better.
• Proven level of product leadership experience with a focus on small business products that leverage specific small business data.
• Strong experience utilising qualitative and quantitative data to enhance product feature development, product positioning, and build a human centred narrative to support all aspects of the product.
• Demonstrated experience in driving client growth and winning new business. Experience storytelling a product strategy with senior management and clients from the perspective of the end user or clients needs & pain points.
• Experience with managing a pipeline, structuring a deal, negotiating business agreements, and driving commercial results.
• Demonstrated experience building and leveraging strong relationships at multiple levels, leading cross-functional teams to promote a shared vision and deliver as a single team.
