Job Description

As the Director of ATM Product Management, you will be responsible for leading a team of four product managers, overseeing a significant P&L and technology budget, and managing strategic vendor relationships within the ATM domain. Your role will involve mentoring your team and steering them towards the development of next-generation offerings, customized to cater to our customers' unique needs. Your responsibilities will be wide-ranging, from providing strategic planning guidance from leadership, to selecting functions and features, and supervising tactical activities.

You will strategize, develop, and roll out DPS Debit Processing ATM roadmap product/features, while enhancing existing capabilities in line with product strategy and roadmap. This will ensure the delivery of market-leading debit processing ATM services, including:

ATM terminal driving services and transaction processing across all supported vendors and operating systems.

Value-added services like Cardholder Preferences, Content Management, and ATM Performance Management services.

This position will also involve working closely with teams across Sales, Account Management, Marketing, and Finance. Your ability to communicate effectively and maintain strong relationships will be key to driving the success of our ATM acquiring business.

This role will report directly to the Director of ATM, Managed Card Fulfilment, and Vendor Management at DPS.

 Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a key executive leader for DPS, managing a multi-million dollar P&L and technology development budget for the ATM product portfolio.
  • Manage multiple product teams and ensure the delivery of services meets or exceeds specific standards developed, this includes a best-in-class innovation and ‘product concept to market implementation’ delivery time.
  • Manage and continually enhance ATM strategy, objectives and a 3–5-year roadmap to serve as a differentiator in winning new issuer processing deals and grow Visa’s value-added services business. Understand client business needs and competitive landscape.
  • Lead cross-functional teams in managing product strategies and business plans, managing the prioritization, implementation and tracking of initiatives, performing competitive, customer, and market analysis and examination of new market opportunities
  • Oversee product development lifecycle.  Lead teams to ensure the product, enhancement, and technology requests meet the business needs and are rolled-out as designed, while also managing the correction of any defects / issues associated with DPS ATM Product.
  • Develop product positioning and messaging, set direction for marketing and sales plans, and develop collateral and sales materials.
  • Create key differentiating ATM products, while enabling Visa innovations for all issuer processing clients.
  • Provide senior management support to assist with key client, and signature client business sales. 

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • 10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD)

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree ( MBA or advanced technical degree)
  • Experience leading global and regional teams
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience in conjunction with a less technical BA/BS
  • 8+ years of product management experience launching, building, and growing multiple products
  • You have experience leading cross-functional teams including Engineering, Design, and Product Marketing
  • Excellent problem-solving, organizational, analytical and influencing skills
  • Experience in managing and developing a team of product managers while fostering an effective and inclusive team culture
  • Proven ability to take initiative and build strong, productive relationships
  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal skills are required.
  • Must be proficient in all MS Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Access) with advanced Excel spreadsheet skills.
  • Ability to travel for business will be required.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 150,400.00 to 170,000 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
