Job Description

The Global Creator Parrtnerships is part of the Global Content Strategy, Development & Distribution team, reporting to the Senior Director of Content Creation. This individual will be part of a global team responsible for developing and scaling best-in-class content on behalf of Visa’s marketing positioning and voice.

This individual will oversee the planning, management, and optimization of Visa’s content across global social media platforms with creator partners.  This person should have a passion and experience in:

  • Creators and the creator economy
  • Agencies and partners who support the creator economy
  • Technology and tools that support creators, agencies and brands
  • Metrics and methods to measure creator content success
  • Global brands who have partnered with a range of creators across social platforms

Essential Functions (Required):

  • Defines and unifies the team around Visa’s creator strategy
  • Works with regions to define Visa’s approach and develop consistency in our partnerships
  • Partners with team to select agencies that will work with us on creator contracting and management
  • Partners with global creators to make and distribute content on our channels
  • Understands and manages for social platforms’ creator perspectives and policies
  • Tracks and measures creator partnership success and recommends future actions
  • Use and recommend technology that supports creator content and distribution
  • Works with our global privacy, legal and technology teams to implement social governance policies

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:
• 10 years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree, 8 years of work experience with an Advanced
degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD), or a minimum of 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications:
• 12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an
Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD
• 12+ years experience in strategic roles managing social with a subset of that experience dedicated
to managing influencers/creators and creator content
• Content strategy with large global brands
• Experience with creators including contracting and delivery of assets
• Track record of achieving results with creators
• Experience working with emerging creators and large-scale creators
• Track record of developing creator strategies for large complex organizations
• Experience with legal and privacy teams to support creators and the brand
• Extremely organized with keen attention to detail
• An influential and confident leader with experience collaborating across complex global teams
• Bring fresh creative ideas to increase efficient and effective experimentation
• You have a bias for action, not bureaucracy, and are able to act nimbly and quickly while rallying
cross-functional teams.
• Must have proven ability to drive results with a high degree of personal initiative and leadership in a
fast-paced, dynamic environment with limited resources.
• A thought-leader, change agent, and champion of developing new ways of working.

Additional Information

Work Hours: Varies upon the needs of the department.

Travel Requirements: This position requires travel 5-10% of the time.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is 146,900.00 to 213,000.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position may be eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401 (k), FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time Off, and Wellness Program.
