Job Description

As the Director of B2B Risk Solutions, this role will be accountable for delivering product innovation across our risk product portfolio, driving new and existing client-facing solutions within the commercial / business-to-business (B2B) space. This role will help define the risk-related product roadmap, vision, and strategy, ensuring alignment with customer needs, market trends, and our Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) partners.

  • Market & Risk Expertise: Be/come the Subject Matter Expert for both internal teams and external stakeholders, leading risk and identity related market-facing initiatives and maintaining deep engagement with customers and market participants.

  • Product Strategy & Roadmap: Operate and collaborate within the Risk and Identity Solutions (RaIS) team and embedded partnership with the Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS) team to develop and execute a strategic roadmap for fraud risk and identity initiatives. Lead new opportunity assessments including strategic fit, investment requirements and business case development for new and existing RaIS solutions.

  • Solutions Development: Work with cross-functional teams to research, assess, and identify potential fraud risks related to international e-invoicing regulations, card and non-card based B2B flows, transforming this knowledge into high quality customer-focused solution designs and detailed product requirements and user stories. Work with development teams to ensure that builds are according to requirements, timelines, and meet quality standards.

  • Commercialization: Strong commercial focus, in partnership with VCS’ client solutions team, drive all aspects of bringing products to market, from market analysis and competitive positioning to pricing strategy, sales enablement, and post-launch revenue optimization.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

-10 years of experience in product management roles, with a proven track
record of success in launching and managing products.
-A Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced
Degree (e.g. Masters/MBA/JD/MD)
-Ability to develop and articulate a clear product vision and strategy that aligns
with the overall business objectives. Proven ability to translate business
problems into solutions with a strong emphasis in the B2B and fraud risk
space.
-Strong knowledge of AP/AR and e-invoicing solutions, with a solid
understanding of the technology behind products being managed, although
deep technical expertise is not required.
-Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with
cross-functional teams, including sales, marketing, and finance. Strong
presentation skills, with the ability to present to senior leaders both internally
and externally.
-Experience in leading product in a matrixed environment and influencing cross-
functional teams.
