Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Project Management Office (PMO) Manager for EU Deal Team. This candidate will be the PMO for all Pan European deals / Strategic Single country deals – coordinating deals across all Countries, bringing structure and best practice in approach and output. The role will be a dedicated resource on these deals.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in project management, excellent leadership skills, and a keen eye for detail.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Be the PMO for large Pan European deals / Single country large deals.
  • Support deals for European Clients with multiple CIA agreements by Geography – build overall client strategy with consistent approach across all markets, understand timings of associated CIAs, build in depth understanding of Client needs and market landscapes. Work with Account leads / Country Managers to bring coherent strategy across the client pitch.
  • The individual will be responsible for driving performance improvement across the key processes within the PMO, e.g. planning & estimating, prioritization, commercials etc.
  • Coordinate and run portfolio governance meetings, such as Daily / Weekly stand ups.
  • Act as a subject matter expert for project management best-practice, methods, processes, tools, templates and standards.
  • Facilitate Lessons Learned workshops and document findings for continuous improvements to the role of the PMO
  • Drive through best practice and learnings from other Pan European deals, including maximizing usage of Deal Content Library
  • Feedback to COE Head improvements required on best practice, including training needs.

It is a highly visible role within EU Deal team and will require regular engagement with the Functional heads and other senior people at Visa Europe / Global.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

A bachelor's degree in business or a related field.
• Proven experience as a PMO Manager or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of project management principles and practices.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Proficiency in project management software tools.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Certification in Project Management Professional (PMP) is a plus.
