  • Serve as part of Visa's Cybersecurity Audit and Compliance (A&C) function within the Cybersecurity Governance Risk and Compliance (GRC) team.
  • Provide oversight, coordination, and delivery of the activities that support successful internal audits, external audits and compliance, regulatory activities, and external customer/client requests while effectively balancing the individual elements of these activities.
  • Assist with validating the ongoing effectiveness of Cybersecurity controls across Visa (both automated and manual), working with a variety of control owners within the Cybersecurity organization, and evaluating control design and standards in a variety of program areas.
  • Influence beyond immediate team and with those of more experience/seniority.
  • Develop data points into Information Security risk management reporting activities, including dashboards, metrics, and executive reporting content.
  • Update Cybersecurity leadership on the status of technology risk and compliance issues based on assessment results and information from various monitoring and control systems.
  • Position may require travel.
  • Position reports to the Austin, TX office and may allow for partial telecommuting.

Qualifications

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field followed by 5 years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or in a cyber security analyst-related occupation. Alternatively, employer will accept a Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration or related field, and 3 years of experience in the job offered or in a cyber security analyst-related occupation.
  • Synthesizing a variety of data points, and formulating execution and risk mitigation plans;
  • Conducting data analysis using Microsoft Excel, SQL, or other scripting language;
  • Familiar with at least one cyber security framework & regulation: ISO, NIST, COSO, COBIT, PCI, FFIEC, SOX, SSAE16/ISAE3402, or SOC 2;
  • Performing an IT compliance audit; and
  • Identifying and defining metrics that drive performance and develop dashboards

Additional Information

Worksite: Austin, TX

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Travel Requirements: This position may require travel.

Mental/Physical Requirements: This position will be performed in an office setting.  The position will require the incumbent to sit and stand at a desk, communicate in person and by telephone, frequently operate standard office equipment, such as telephones and computers.

U.S. APPLICANTS ONLY: The estimated salary range for a new hire into this position is $128,752.00 USD to $158,600.00 USD per year, which may include potential sales incentive payments (if applicable). Salary may vary depending on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location. In addition, this position may be eligible for an annual bonus and equity. Visa has a comprehensive benefits package for which this position is eligible that includes Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k), Employee Stock Purchase Program, FSA/HSA, Life Insurance, Paid Time off and Wellness Programs.
