Job Description

Purpose:

The Director will be part of the Visa Consulting & Analytics team which delivers high impact advisory and implementation projects to Visa’s clients across North Africa, Levant and Pakistan (NALP). We are looking for motivated individuals to join our growing consulting practice to lead business development efforts, structure and drive consulting and analytics projects, lead the projects delivery, guide team members to develop complex analyses, derive relevant insights, and shape clients’ strategies and implementation efforts.

Responsibilities include:

• Support the VCA leads of different NALP markets by working on VCA business development (proposals) and end to end project delivery and management , with significant focus on Egypt and Libya
• Develop project pitches/proposals and secure new consulting assignments with clients, as well as re-engagements opportunities via a consultative sales approach.
• Resolve clients’ complex problems, synthesizing complex questions and ambiguous client situations as required.
• Structure and deliver client project as well as guide team members in structuring and delivering different consulting project workstreams.
• Mentor and coach junior team members.
• Support Visa’s business development teams in developing client partnership pitches and proposals.
• Lead and deliver consulting projects
• Use Visa’s and external data to analyze client needs across the focus markets and identify opportunities for consulting assignments with Visa’s key clients.
• If required, work on client site to design and project manage the implementation of consulting recommendations, marketing campaigns, product value propositions, product migrations, etc.
• If required, develop and deliver client training programs and impart best practices knowledge sharing to Visa clients
• Manage project budgets and resources to perform all required duties.
• Work closely with different Visa functions, including Sales, Product, Marketing etc., to ensure a seamless consulting projects delivery and impact.
• Lead knowledge sharing initiatives with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients.
• Carry out other ad hoc support, support other functions and teams within Visa, and work on internal projects.
• Work closely with different Visa functions, including Sales, Product, Marketing etc., to ensure a seamless consulting projects delivery and impact
• Develop and evolve Visa Consulting & Analytics’ service offering
• Develop Visa Consulting & Analytics thought leadership material
• Lead knowledge sharing initiatives with consulting teams in other regions to incorporate best practice, source analytical or other solutions to bring global perspective to local clients
• Carry out other ad hoc support, support other functions and teams within Visa, and work on internal projects

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your Hiring Manager.

Qualifications

Basic QUalifications
10 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or at least 8 years of work experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters/ MBA/JD/MD) or at least 3 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualifications
12 or more years of work experience with a Bachelor’s Degree or 8-10 years of experience with an Advanced Degree (e.g. Masters, MBA, JD, MD) or 6+ years of work experience with a PhD

Education/ professional qualifications:
•10+ years of work experience including solid consulting experience
•Consulting experience gained within management consulting firms or an in-house strategy function
•Experience in financial services/ payments industry is a plus
•MBA or Post Graduate studies is a plus
•A recognized undergraduate degree qualification
Experience/ skills required:
•Self-motivated and able to use own initiative with limited direction
•Strong teamwork and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with inter-disciplinary groups
•Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
•Strong analytical and excel modelling skills
•Excellent presentation skills and ability to present to senior execs including c-suite
•Relationship management skills – should be able to manage internal and external stakeholders at senior levels
•High attention to detail and commitment to quality
•Experience in structuring and delivering advisory projects
•Superior project management skills
•Proficiency in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint to develop superb client presentations
•Group facilitation and presentation skills
•Results driven, flexible and both internally and externally customer focused
•Fluency in Arabic and English mandatory
