Job Description
What we expect of you, day to day.
- Work with local, regional and European resources to develop the B2B business in France, Belgium and Luxembourg (FBL). Participate, own and execute on the strategy, sales plans and pipeline for commercial opportunities across FBL
- Work with Visa Commercial Solutions (commercial/B2B) experts across Europe and ensure FBL strategy ties in with regional and European plans/roadmaps. Work closely with Visa FBL Team operating in Commercial and Money Movement Solutions and other Visa FBL teams to plan and execute related strategies
- Use your network to find, develop and manage commercial relationships with issuers and partners in the region, driving commercial products in close collaboration with account executives, business development and country managers. Work with account executives and key clients to identify new opportunities for Visa's suite of commercial payment solutions (for example, but not limited to: Commercial Cards, Virtual Accounts and platforms).
- Train and educate local resources to self serve opportunities. Train and educate yourself on Visa's broader suite of commercial payment products, these include Visa's large market B2B products, procurement, mobility and travel products and new payment flows.
- Coordinate and own the local key sales pipeline, ensuring all opportunities are reported in CRM tool.
- Utilize a consultative sales approach that ensures that the client’s business objectives are met and their performance metrics are optimized. Continuously review payment landscape and recommend and help develop ways to increase value for Visa and our clients

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.
Qualifications
Experience
- Senior level B2B sales experience, particularly in digital product or solutions
- Experience selling to fintech customers [large market commercial business in France, Belgium and Luxembourg.]
Knowledge Focus Areas
- Deep knowledge of the various sales cycles and stages
Skills/competencies
- The successful candidate will effectively lead new customer acquisition activities and effectively manage them throughout the entire sales cycle. In doing so, the candidate can work collaboratively across internal Visa functions to build a Visa network, solve complex problems, and serve as the face of Visa to external partners.
- The ideal candidate will bring passion for and interest in Payments, Fintech, and [industry area], with client-relationship building skills, presence, knowledge of [industry area] strategies and priorities. This is a proactive candidate that is resilient when faced with challenges and has the ability to execute on ambitious goals/quotas.
- Willingness to travel within the FBL region (approx 10%) and 1-2 times per year to London, UK.
