Establishing a method to ensure Client compliance timely reporting Third Party Agents (TPAs) to Visa and design kickoff a communications campaign to reach existing and identified TPAs to make them aware of the available Visa Service framework.

The initiative aims to have an accurate inventory of the acting TPAs in the region, adjust processes to harness their impact in the payments ecosystem and generate leads for a new Client Services Value Added Services (VAS) revenue line and ensure their compliance with Visa mandates.

The intern will gain an understanding of MX Visa’s varied client portfolio and how the different players (TPAs) interact in the payment ecosystem. The project offers local and regional exposure, allowing the intern to work with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring alignment across Client Services, Sales, Legal and Compliance teams.

Some of the main responsibilities include:

  1. Perform a complete Mexico client inventory and update status and categorization: The intern will identify the full list of clients in Mexico and identify their operation category. This involves understanding the varied types of licensee members, identifying key operational focus, and identifying their commercial and operational Visa owners.
  2. Mapping Third Party Agents: Based on the validated client portfolio, the intern will collaborate with the client’s account manager to identify the different third parties that facilitate its client’s operation within the payment’s ecosystem with the Visa license.
  3. TPA Categorization: based on the multiple TPAs and their varied operations, the intern will define a set of categories to group the TPAs and link to potential services within the CS Service framework with support from the LAC Regional Nonmember processors and Digital merchant’s client success managers as well as the Mexico Processors Client Success manager.
  4. Implementation Strategy:  The two steps of the strategy consist of establishing a process to reach TPA compliance and creating leads to sell the CS Service Framework to the key TPAs. Based on the TPA categorization, compliance priority should be set with the compliance-rules and CS teams; and a communication plan should be triggered. An operating rhythm should be set with the CS Managers to drive compliance and pursue services leads with the account executives. A dashboard that tracks compliance and sales will be put in place to enable the initiative tracking during the 2nd half of the fiscal year and going forward. This involves planning timelines, assigning tasks, setting goals, and outlining the steps necessary for successful implementation
