Team Summary 

The Associate Marketing Analyst for Korea and Mongolia will play a crucial role in driving Visa's marketing efforts. This involves supporting marketing campaigns for Visa’s diverse client base, including credit card companies, banks, fintechs, and merchants and Visa. Key responsibilities include contributing to strategic marketing initiatives, fostering successful co-marketing partnerships, and developing innovative solutions to enhance Visa's brand and business growth.

You will report to the Director of Consumer & Client Marketing, Korea and Mongolia, and will be an integral member of both the Korea and Mongolia cluster team and the wider AP Marketing organization.

What a Associate Marketing Analyst does at Visa:

As a Associate Marketing Analyst at Visa, you'll contribute to a wide range of marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.

  • Client Marketing: Collaborating with Visa's diverse client base to develop and execute effective co-marketing campaigns, providing strategic marketing advice, and delivering innovative solutions across B2B and B2C segments.
  • Consumer & Merchant Marketing: Supporting social media and website management, as well as sponsorships such as MAMA AWARDS.
  • Assisting in creating and managing attractive merchant offers to entice customers.


Key Responsibilities include:

Client Partnership and Collaboration
•    Strategic Partnerships: Collaborate with key stakeholders, including the Visa marketing community, Business Development, Product, Visa Consulting, and MS&A teams, to deliver impactful marketing solutions.
•    Joint Marketing Initiatives: Partner with the Business Development Team to leverage client incentives and media investments for effective joint marketing campaigns.
•    Campaign Execution: Contribute to the delivery of high-quality marketing campaigns, ensuring they meet strategic objectives and deliver optimal results.
•    Vendor Management: Collaborate with creative, media, and partnership agencies to ensure client-centric campaign development and implementation.
•    Sponsorship Management: Support in managing end-to-end sponsorship activities, including client contracts, hospitality programs, and performance tracking.


Administrative Support and Project Management
•    Project Management: Assist in managing project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure efficient delivery.
•    Operational Support: Provide administrative support for marketing projects, including procurement, contract management, and compliance.


Brand Management and Merchant Marketing
•    Brand Guardianship: Ensure consistent application of Visa's brand guidelines across all marketing materials, including those created by Visa, agencies, clients, and merchants.
•    Digital Brand Management: Oversee social media and website content to align with brand strategy and drive engagement.
•    Merchant Offer Management: Oversee the entire lifecycle of merchant offers, from translation and upload to client and consumer communication.

You will drive customer centricity by understanding the evolving payment ecosystem and changing customer needs of Visa and Visa’s clients.

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

What you will need:

Experience: Minimum 1 - 2 years of relevant experience in a marketing team (agency or client) at ideally (but not specifically) from similar industries such as Financial Services, Technology or FinTech.

Marketing Fundamentals: Strong understanding of marketing principles, including branding, advertising, digital marketing, and market research.

Project Management: Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present complex ideas clearly and concisely.

Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills to evaluate marketing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.

Creativity: A creative mindset to develop innovative marketing campaigns and solutions.

Teamwork: Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, and product teams.

Attention to Detail: Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in all work.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Strong proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Language Skills: Fluency in Korean and English is a must.
