Job Description

Our Account team is responsible for sales, strategy, planning and performance management for one of our UK & Ireland based Signature clients. The Account Executive (AE) Manager role is part of the Corporate and Business Bank coverage team for the Client.

Day to day the role involves

  • Driving revenue growth through end to end sales responsibility for select target Client Corporate Bank opportunities. Leading contract negotiations where required. Identifying opportunities for sales cross sell across the Client’s Group entities.
  • Responsible for co-ordinating sales excellence, enablement and standardisation of approach for all Corporate and Business Bank sales opportunities. This will include working with internal partners and our Account team colleagues
    • to develop and standardise delivery of meaningful payments data driven insights (sourced from Visa’s own data tools) for the client’s Corporate and Business Bank across both regular governance meetings and product sales or growth opportunities
    • to leverage relevant internal and external research insights as thought leadership content. Research insights will be relevant and aligned to the client’s Corporate and Business Bank goals to help identify sales opportunities, and support development of commercially viable business cases and strategic plans.
  • Managing relationships with the client and internal stakeholders across a wide range of Visa teams, in particular Visa Commercial Solutions (VCS), Visa Direct, Visa Government Solutions (VGS), Visa Client Services, Visa UK&I Core Product, Visa Sustainability Solutions, Visa Risk Advisors, Visa Core Value Added Solutions (VAS) Visa Consulting & Analytics (VCA) and Visa Marketing Services.
  • Contribute to the content, governance and delivery of regular and ad hoc account team and client meetings representing our Corporate Bank coverage team.
  • Participating in various ad hoc internal projects and supporting RFPs through content development and ongoing customisation as needed.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

Qualifications

  • Strong business development, sales and go-to-market experience
  • Commercial growth mindset and project management/organisation skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong data analytical skills and experience in developing commercial business cases and/or financial models, with the ability to interpret data and translate findings into meaningful strategic insights and actionable recommendations. Confident in using data tools and Microsoft Excel for analysis, with ability to distil data outcomes into clear and compelling client facing actionable insights via Microsoft PowerPoint presentations.
  • Demonstrated experience in driving broad, strategic initiatives and organising data/information.
  • Proactive and collaborative self starter with a can-do attitude, experienced in forming strong working relationships across all organisational levels and teams and effectively influencing cross functional areas to achieve consensus on goals and objectives
  • Critical thinking skills, ability to 'connect the dots' and approach issue resolution with a forward-looking view to anticipate and address problems
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, complex and dynamic environment where there may be change and ambiguity, to adapt to evolving organisational requirements
  • Experience in presenting to and building relationships with clients and senior management level audiences, both internally and externally / confident in using Microsoft PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and experience of the payments business and/or financial services.
  • Interest (and ideally experience) in commercial payments across B2B Corporate Transaction banking and SME Business Banking.
