Job Description

What's it all about?

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will combine excellent analytical skills with a passion for building and maintaining client relationships to drive sales opportunities. This role is pivotal in working with a portfolio of Global and European Top Clients, Merchants, Acquirers, and Digital Partners. It will work across all clients, working hand in hand with account managers, providing not only analytical support but also driving projects directly with the clients. This includes promoting, selling, and deploying the full range of Visa products and services and coordinating client projects across the Visa organization.

What we expect of you, day to day.

  • Partner with the Account Managers team to execute the Visa Europe strategy at a client level through a cohesive, integrated data-led approach for the short/mid/long-term to drive sustained revenue growth & client retention, positioning Visa as the industry leader.

  • Provide analytical support across the portfolio of clients to help drive sales opportunities, understand industry trends, and monitor key performance indicators.

  • Work with clients to identify new and ongoing requirements, introducing products and services which enhance the customer payment experience and support growth for the client’s business with Visa

  • Navigate and effectively work within a matrix organization to align with cross-functional teams and achieve business objectives. Collaborate and engage with colleagues across Visa (Sales, Product Management, Marketing, Finance, Legal, Consultants, etc.) to deliver as one team.

This is a hybrid position. Expectation of days in office will be confirmed by your hiring manager.

 

Qualifications

Basic Qualification
•5 or more years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's Degree or at
least 2 years of work experience with an Advanced degree (e.g. Masters, MBA,
JD, MD) or 0 years of work experience with a PhD

Preferred Qualification
•Minimum 5 years experience in a similar role, preferably within the payments or
financial services industry.
•Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide actionable
insights.
•Excellent presentation skills – both in preparing compelling decks and tell a
convincing story
•Good commercial acumen and the ability to identify opportunities and propose
solutions
•Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise with and influence key
stakeholders
•Previous experience, passion, curiosity, and knowledge of financial services,
and in particular payments industry
•Proven influencing, consultative selling and negotiation skills
