Job Description

Purpose:

The Client Analyst is responsible for leveraging their relationship management and consultative selling skills to manage and grow strategic clients. This position will balance customer goals and interests with financial implications to VISA.

Essential Functions:

  • Develop an account plan for assigned accounts that identifies strategies to properly support and up sell each account
  • Attain targeted revenue and strategic objectives
  • Understand the functionality of Company core products and services to maximize value to the customer and effectively communicate all offerings to customers
  • Identify new market & cross selling opportunities, develop strategies and approaches to capture those
  • Demonstrate VISA’s value proposition using internal tools and reports
  • Create and deliver effective business development presentations
  • Provide training using approved partner and direct client training materials
  • Provide strong sales support to internal and external clients
  • Effectively navigate, motivate, and lead internal partners to project completion
  • Provide regular two way communication between assigned customers and Company personnel, to provide strong team representation and set proper customer expectations
  • Coordinate and drive resolution of high level customer issues with the support of other departments
  • Monitor and report on the activities of competitor/industry changes impactful to issuer/partner and VISA
  • Ensure high levels of client/ prospect satisfaction through proactive outreach with relevant insights and regular follow ups.
  • Partner with the Generalist Sales team to prepare proposals, presentations, and other sales materials that highlight Visa solutions' technical capabilities and advantages to address client needs.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to issuers that align with Visa’s Purpose to uplift everyone, everywhere by being the best way to pay and be paid.
  • Perform comprehensive analysis to identify and diagnose situations impacting clients and uncover opportunities to enhance our offering.
  • Drive initiatives and solutions defining next steps and identifying stakeholders

This is a hybrid position. Hybrid employees can alternate time between both remote and office. Employees in hybrid roles are expected to work from the office 2-3 set days a week (determined by leadership/site), with a general guidepost of being in the office 50% or more of the time based on business needs.

Qualifications

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Required:
• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or University, within a Business, Finance or Technology discipline
• In lieu of degree, a high school diploma/equivalent with four or more years related experience and or training or equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered
• 3+ years of successful sales, relationship management business development or sales support experience
• Demonstrated ability to establish, maintain, and deepen partnerships with customers (senior level decision makers up to C level), and identify and drive profitability within a portfolio
• Proficient in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
• Proven analytical and decision making abilities

Preferred:
• International business experience
• Demonstrable relationships with C Suite stakeholders at regional and community banks

Travel Requirements:
• Ability to travel 25 % via air or land, internationally or domestically
