VICE x Team
The Finance and Operations Team is supporting the Global Production Services Organisation, which comprises Editorial Production Management, Commercial Production, Post Production and Global Media Operations.
The responsibility of the team is to make sure that financial processes are running smoothly for the business and that the performance is reported back to the business, the finance teams and the management.
We are a small but effective group. Every team member is able to work self sufficient and needs to have a problem-solving, adaptable and flexible work attitude. Our team atmosphere is collaborative, fast paced and focused.
Role x You
You are passionate about bringing together business and finance and are looking to join a global team with multiple areas of engagement. We are looking to hire a Manager, Production Finance, due to time zones preferred anywhere in Europe.
In the short term you are responsible for maintenance of all operational reporting in place and ensuring the quality and timely delivery. Reporting to the VP, Finance and Operations you will be additionally in charge of optimizing and automatizing. With a dotted line to the Director, Production Accounting you are additionally supporting in rolling out global guidelines for Production Accounting Standards and Systems.
But after 6 months in this role we see you supporting any new transformational projects from a financial perspective and supporting the budgeting process and tracking against yearly budgets 2022. We will also challenge you to bring forward ideas for improvements and execute them.
And after a year you are sole owner of financial reporting for the Global Production Service Organisation, connecting the dots via dashboards and highlighting challenges to be addressed.
Qualifications
You have these:
- Experience with ERP-, BI- and Production Accounting Tools (preferred Netsuite, Domo and Greenslate/PMI)
- Background in Production Accounting
- 5+ years of experience in an operational or transformational finance position
- Strong Excel and G-sheet skills and experience in processing large volumes of data
- Flexible and adaptable working attitude to address changing needs and environment
- Outstanding communication skills

The minimum salary for this role is 42,000 EUR gross (group 4, CBA for advertising and market communication, all overtime included), however, depending on your qualifications and experience, we are open to pay more.
