The Data & Marketing Group plays a central role in the Paramount Streaming Group, responsible for the Consumer & Growth Marketing, Data & Insights and Business Operations for Pluto TV & Paramount+ at the cornerstone of growth across the free and pay streaming markets! Pluto TV is the leading free streaming television service in America, delivering 250+ live and original channels and thousands of on-demand movies in partnership with major TV networks, movie studios, publishers, and digital media companies. The Sr Manager, Media Strategy is responsible for helping drive the paid media strategy for Pluto TV Brand and Content campaigns. This role owns the paid media approach across traditional and digital, including TV, CTV, OOH, direct digital, audio, experiential/partnerships and across our Paramount Owned + Operated Portfolio media. This role sits within the larger Media and Acquisition team and will partner closely with Brand & Content Marketing team, our media agencies, and media partners to drive collaboration, efficient use of our media investment and best in-class entertainment campaigns. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in implementing media campaigns which drive measurable results, thrive in a fast paced setting with the capability to work on multiple campaigns at a time. Responsibilities:
- Drives the paid media strategy for Pluto TV Brand and Content campaigns, collaborating with the Brand Marketing Team, from briefing through measuring performance.
- Ensures campaigns have cohesive and comprehensive go-to-market media strategies and helps to drive cross-campaign alignment to fuel growth with full funnel media investment planning.
- Leads media agencies with project prioritization, media budgets, and meetings.
- Provides creative brand expertise to our external media agency to finesse partnerships and refine creative executions for maximum impact.
- Partners with collaborators across the marketing team to translate marketing strategies into tangible media activations with Pluto-lens.
- Leads all aspects of the paid media strategy for high-impact CTV takeovers.
- Works across Paramount to coordinate, plan and measure Owned + Operated media.
- Builds positive relationships with key media partners in order to make the most of investment, ad formats, testing and learning opportunities.
- Supplies to a culture of sharing standard processes, creating actionable and easily interpreted reporting in collaboration with the agency and analytics team to uncover media and creative performance insights.
- Bachelor's degree.
- 6+ years of related work experience in media strategy at a brand or agency.
- Previous media/entertainment/streaming experience preferred.
- Proficient in the digital space capable of making data-driven decisions and recommendations.
- Proactive, meticulous, accountable, and enthusiastic.
- Excellent communication/interpersonal competence, including both written & verbal skills.
- Experience with working in highly cross-functional and matrixed organizations; a collaborator who enjoys working across teams.
- Ability to adapt rapidly in an agile environment with shifting priorities - balance cross functional teams' needs, reacting quickly, dynamically, and intelligently.
- Ability to both think strategically and complete tactically.
- Experience making pitches to executive-level audiences and working directly with creative partners.
- Savvy in building decks and able to synthesize strategy and plans for various audiences.
- Validated self-starter with the ability to handle various work projects at once, prioritize work assignments, meet deadlines, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Proven track record of managing direct reports.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $98,400.00 - 140,600.00.
The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York City, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is bonus eligible.
