Responsibilities

As part of our team, you will work closely with internal cross-functional teams and external partners to develop content strategies and implement content curation to drive audience engagement. The ideal candidate is an organized and entrepreneurial team player who reliably meets deadlines and deliverables with impeccable attention to detail.

Content Strategy and Analysis:
  • Provide insights, analysis, reviews, and recommendations around content performance and audience to identify business opportunities and optimize partnership performance.
  • Support content strategies by providing data and analytics, market watch.
  • Support content licensing/acquisitions evaluation and identify content that aligns with programming strategies.
  • Perform competitive analysis as needed to drive qualitative insights for potential content targets and overall programming strategy.
Content and Calendar Management:
  • Own and update the programming and planning calendar and communicate to external vendors and internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Monitor timely delivery of content across multiple platforms and adjust marketing/ programming accordingly.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
  • Liaison with other teams and external partners to ensure a cohesive content narrative and messaging.
  • Regularly present content strategies, performance updates, and insigjts to senior leadership and cross-functional teams.
  • Drive viewership by supporting and implementing new initiatives by partnering with the Marketing/ Growth/ Analytics teams.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 6 to 8 years of work experience in a growing content and/or entertainment company, ideally with a focus on multiplatform or streaming services
  • A solid understanding of data-based scheduling and programming strategies
  • Passionate about streaming technologies and digital asset management
  • Good knowledge of using traditional and digital data, data-based decision-making, and common scheduling tools
  • Business proficiency in both Japanese and English with excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • High level of communication & organizational skills, plus high attention to detail
  • Passionate about entertainment and all things pop culture
  • Adaptable, flexible, and able to change gears quickly and nimbly in a fast-paced global environment
