The Paramount Advertising Sports Sales Marketing Strategy team focuses on supporting and growing advertiser investment and marketing partnerships across the Paramount/CBS Sports portfolio. Our primary goal is to develop and lead multi-platform partnerships based on market demand, consumer behavior trends, client briefs, data and insights, and most notably CBS Sports talent/IP. Each linear strategy team is responsible for specific sports properties from start to finish working alongside sports sales management, the sports division, & our sports programming partners. As Director, Sports Sales Marketing, you will manage NFL, WNBA, NWSL, & DEI programming, including but not limited to the responsibilities below, as well as managing a dedicated coordinator.

Responsibilities:
- Pre-sale strategy & post sale execution of linear sports integrated marketing and sponsorships on CBS and CBSSN.
- Responsible for creative strategy, proposal development, presentation and project management of revenue generating marketing programs.
- Liaison to the sports division alongside sports sales management.
- Collaborate with the sports programming, production, marketing, & legal departments, in addition to our sports programming partners.
- Collaborate with research & insights for pre-sale proposals and/or post sale reporting.
- Linear sports marketing lead on new technology opportunities.
- Work alongside sports division/sports sales management to create new sellable sports opportunities and execute once sold.
- General property management (but not limited to)
- Pre-Sale
- Meeting prep and attendance, sports only presentations, & the creation & maintenance of property specific materials
- Post Sale
- Responsible for executing all linear sports sponsorships/campaigns in collaboration with the sports division.
- Coordinate sports sales memos/execution plans and provide recap decks where appropriate.

- Liaison between the sports division and other internal groups within paramount advertising.
- Collaborate with key stakeholders across paramount advertising (where applicable) on pre-sale and post-sale sports strategy:
- Proposal Creation
- Paramount total portfolio RFPs
- Creative RFPs (branded content & influence)
- Proposal Creation
- Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years' experience in Partnerships, Integrated Marketing, or Sponsorships for publisher and/or agency experience
- Expertise in both linear and digital media with a demonstrated track record of crafting successful multi-platform marketing programs
- Client-focused mind-set while understanding the needs of ad sales and the Paramount brands.
- Excellent strategic thinking skills and an ability to leverage quantitative and qualitative insights.
- Proficiency in applying marketing strategy to creative ideas and campaign activation across multiple platforms.
- Strong presentation skills
- Strong knowledge of Power Point and Excel
- Ability to delegate, identify and provide opportunities for growth and ownership.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, ability to prioritize and multi-task as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $140,000.00 - 152,500.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement. This position is eligible to earn sales incentive compensation.
