Reporting to the Director of Insights, this Research Analyst will primarily support the Sales teams with data and insights that tell the story of how Paramount's network and brands work to hit advertiser targets and make an impact on consumer decisions. Responsibilities:
• Support Sales with the development of strong positioning stories from campaign effectiveness data to highlight the value of the Paramount audience
• Understand the linear, digital, and cross-platform ad space, developing a deep understanding of media measurement and its implications for Paramount Ad Sales
• Measure the performance and impact of traditional and non-traditional advertising campaigns
• Manage campaign effectiveness requests from sales and marketing teams
• Set up ad effectiveness studies for Paramount campaigns by determining KPIs, editing surveys, collaborating with internal teams/external vendors to ultimately report findings
• Oversee and guide vendor relationships to ensure deliverables are on track
• Analyze campaign level data across linear, digital, and social properties and compellingly report findings
• Present ad effectiveness research findings to sales teams and external stakeholders as needed
• Build relationships with peers to share information and improve processes
• Help craft engaging, client-ready, research-based sales materials that tell a positive story of our networks and audiences
• Utilize creative data visualization techniques to showcase research stories in a fresh and thought-provoking way for key internal and external clients
• Support team on additional projects as necessary
Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree a plus
• 1+ years of relevant work experience
• Solid understanding and knowledge of software applications used to extract data from syndicated sources and vendors, with a desire to learn and expand skillset
• Strong analytical abilities and data storytelling, including use of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
• Organized, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment, and ability to multitask
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a strong attention to detail
• Ability to work both independently and in a collaborative team environment
• Interest in media and entertainment

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION
Hiring Salary Range: $50,000.00 - 60,000.00. The hiring salary range for this position applies to New York, California, Colorado, Washington state, and most other geographies. Starting pay for the successful applicant depends on a variety of job-related factors, including but not limited to geographic location, market demands, experience, training, and education. The benefits available for this position include medical, dental, vision, 401(k) plan, life insurance coverage, disability benefits, tuition assistance program and PTO or, if applicable, as otherwise dictated by the appropriate Collective Bargaining Agreement.
