As a Finance Operations Associate, you will have the exciting opportunity to manage our global purchasing efforts directly with vendors and key internal stakeholders, to ensure adherence to our internal policies and budget requirements. You will take part in key areas of the Finance Operations such as Independent contractors compensation, and audit support efforts. 

This is a hands-on role, and you’ll be rolling up your sleeves to provide support across the board, whether it's helping employees navigate through our purchasing process, guiding the vendor assessment process, or leading the way on new initiatives.

NOTE: This is a role requiring 4 days in office.

What You'll Do:

  • Process purchase requests and issue purchase orders through our internal procurement system.  
  • Review order forms, service agreements, and other purchase related documentation to ensure compliance with our internal policies and procedures. 
  • Drive cost saving initiatives by working cross functionally with internal business teams to find and execute upon opportunities.
  • Manage periodic vendor renewals and drive improvements to build a sustainable process for ensuring these are handled timely and accurately. 
  • Build meaningful relationships with vendors and negotiate commercial terms to obtain the most favorable outcome for Via.  
  • Share and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to drive improvements to our overall procure to pay process through system enhancements, policy updates, and other refinements. 
  • Assist with other Finance Operations related activities such as liaising with external auditors, Vendor Information Security, and Facilities Management; as well as supporting the independent contractor payments process, generation of periodic reports, and other ad-hoc activities. 

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field. 
  • Have a minimum of 1-3 years of experience in Purchasing, Procurement, or Supply Chain.
  • You’re comfortable with ambiguity and flexible in adapting to changing needs. Always looking for creative solutions to challenges.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills. You are highly motivated, collaborative, and able to work independently. Capable of working closely with multiple stakeholders across functional areas such as Finance, Legal, IT, Risk Management, and Operations.
  • Detail-oriented and highly organized with a process-driven mindset.

Compensation and Benefits:

  • Final salary will be determined by the candidate’s experience, knowledge, and skills. Salary reflected does not include equity or variable pay, where applicable
  • Salary Range: $70,000 - $90,000 per year
