CO Salary Range: USD 80,000.00 - 85,000.00 per year

The Vestas Americas Tools department services construction tools for the installation and servicing of Vestas wind turbines. These heavy machinery tools provide safe and quality lifting of wind turbine components at construction sites in North, Central, and South America. These installation sites are essential in providing Vestas to be the world leader in wind energy. This Warehouse Supervisor will have extensive knowledge in processing inbound and outbound material in a warehouse/production environment.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for communicating and collaborating with internal and external customers; Engage with external customers professionally, and service-oriented to maintain positive customer relationships and satisfaction.

• Maintain warehouse safety and organization to Vestas' safety standards and expectations.

• Provide reporting for senior management and stakeholders

• Ensure all team members have performance expectations set, 1:1 coaching and evaluations for performance, behaviors and development plans

• Ensure all defined processes are implemented by team members

• Perform other tasks as assigned

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) and other software programs

• Effective written and oral communication skills

• Ability to interact frequently with others in a professional, courteous manner

• Ability to supervise and develop a team

Competencies

• Bachelor's degree desired; High school diploma or GED may be substituted with the equivalent level of proven experience

• 3 - 5 years experience in positions of increasing responsibility. Experience in warehousing, distribution, retail, or food service .

• Minimum 1 - 3 years experience with SAP or ERP/MRP software for supply chain /inventory management.

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Team-oriented and supervised

• Able to handle ambiguity and work under ambiguous circumstances.

• High interpersonal and communication skills, focusing on good teamwork.

• Constant standing and walking

• Occasional lifting and carrying of up to 40 pounds

• Occasional use of hand tools and various tools weighing up to 15 pounds

• Occasional push/pull of up to 40 pounds (force)

• Occasional kneeling, bending, and reaching

• Operation of vehicles and plant equipment

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer
