Real Estate Manager, Development

Responsibilities:

Plan, control and direct internal and external land agent real estate activities such as lease acquisition and negotiation, ROW negotiation and other agreements needed

Coordinate with Developers on land acquisition activities

Oversee lease processing and work with land agents to obtain supporting documentation

Complete monthly forecasting and reports and supports team members

Work with GIS tram and external land brokers to identify mapping needs and land status updates

Qualifications:

A Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.

A minimum of 7-9 years' experience in acquisition of land agreements for energy projects. Wind and renewable experience optimal.

Has in-depth know how in developing, negotiating, and executing complex real estate agreements.

Working knowledge of chain of title, surface lease agreements, and title curative documents

Competencies:

Ability to build relationships and interface effectively with cross-functional groups and external stakeholders

Skilled in multi-Tasking and prioritizing competing demands in a fast-paced work environment

Tenacious and creative problem-solver who has strong negotiating skills and attention to detail

*Effectively communicates and has interpersonal skills to engage with internal and external stakeholders
