Logistics Strategy Manager

CO Salary Range: USD 120,000.00 - 140,000.00 per year

Location(s): Brighton, CO or Houston, TX

The Regional Supply Chain Organization facilitates long-term sales forecasting, enables sales with maturing the portfolio of projects until firm order intake (timing, capacity, budget, configuration), manage projects risks and changes with transport and construction and ensures the on-time-in-full delivery according to budget.

Responsibilities:

- Support the implementation of the global segment logistics strategy for the region

- Develop initiatives to optimize inventory levels, total landed cost, storage cost, lead time and risk for raw materials at factories, partnering with Logistic Service Providers and suppliers

- Support the development of regional supply base in collaboration with segment logistics, regional procurement and factory logistics.

- Optimize the logistics for direct-to-site deliveries in coordination with procurement and transport.

- Develop logistics optimization across value chain (Service, Construction, Manufacturing)

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree (Business Management, Supply Chain, etc ), or equivalent; MBA an asset.

- 8-15 years related experience in Regional Supply Chain, Global Supply Chain, Logistics and Materials Management

- Proven results in optimizing complex and global supply chains

- Experience in inventory optimization and inventory management

- Experience in International Logistics

- Experience managing 3 party logistics suppliers

Competencies:

- Analytical and problem-solving skills

- Comprehensive interpersonal skills

- Significant knowledge of methodologies for inventory management, risk management, logistics footprint optimization

- Advanced skills in Microsoft programs, experience with MRP systems, and knowledge of Lean principles

- Effective written and oral communication skills to multiple stakeholder groups

- Ability to influence across organizational boundaries including understanding different cultures

Salary: 120,000-140,000 USD

Compensation will be commensurate with experience
