The PITCH
Our amazing talent team is looking forward to collaborating with a “people first” Talent Acquisition Manager that will lead the processes and recruiting team across APAC.
This is a full time role sitting within the APAC People and Experience Team.
Here’s your first brief --
You’re highly organized, detail-oriented, an analytical thinker, and a skilled multi-tasker who handles even the most stressful situations with a smile. You will lead a team of recruiters across the APAC region, ensuring the recruitment process is efficient, effective, and aligned with the agency’s strategic goals.
This role will balance high-level team leadership with hands-on recruitment, managing the full recruitment lifecycle. Strong leadership skills, a deep understanding of the creative and media agencies, and possess the ability to drive regional recruiting success while fostering a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a diverse team of recruiters based in the APAC region, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure high performance and continuous growth. Ensure alignment within the recruiting team, facilitating collaboration and sharing of best practices across the region to ensure a cohesive, unified approach to hiring.
- Collaborate with regional leadership to develop and execute recruitment strategies that meet the agency’s needs across various APAC markets, with a focus on creative, marketing, and media roles. Ensure the recruitment team in APAC is aligned with the company’s diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) goals while adhering to local labor laws and cultural nuances within the region.
- Set & manage team goals, monitor KPIs, and conduct regular performance reviews to ensure recruiters are meeting targets related to time-to-fill, candidate quality, and overall satisfaction.
- Oversee the recruitment process for key creative, media, marketing, and support roles across the region, including candidate sourcing, screening, interviewing, and offer management.
- Leverage creative sourcing methods to attract diverse and high-quality candidates for roles in the agency. Utilize social media, job boards, events, and industry networks to build strong candidate pipelines.
- Cultivate strong relationships with candidates and hiring managers, ensuring a seamless and positive experience throughout the interview and onboarding process.
- Work with the marketing team to enhance the agency’s employer brand, ensuring that it accurately reflects our agency’s culture, creative environment, and values to potential candidates.
- Collaborate with the internal team to conduct regular benchmarking exercises to ensure our benchmarks reflect movements in the market.
- Spearhead campus recruitment activities across APAC region, attracting local graduate talents to build a robust pipeline for entry level roles.
- Build a framework that supports data-driven decisions. Analyze recruitment metrics (e.g., time-to-fill, candidate satisfaction, diversity rates) and use data to optimize recruitment strategies and improve team performance.
- Continuously improve recruitment processes, from job requisition to onboarding, ensuring efficiency, consistency, and scalability across the APAC region.
- Stay informed about the latest & greatest of recruitment trends & unique recruitment challenges within the APAC region, and tailor strategies to ensure success in different geographic locations.
We treasure personality and can-do attitude yet we do know that these qualifications lead to success in the TA manager role for our growing APAC family --
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in talent acquisition using a candidate-first approach, with at least 2 years in a people management role. Experience in managing teams across multiple countries or regions is a must.
- Experienced hiring within the creative, media, and marketing industries, and an understanding of the unique skills and have a keen eye in spotting unicorns from hiring to onboarding them in the APAC region.
- Proven ability to lead and inspire a remote, regionally dispersed team of recruiters. Strong people management skills, including coaching, mentoring, and performance management. Own stakeholders relationships from hiring managers to department leads.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence candidates, internal stakeholders, and team members across different cultures.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects and hiring processes across different time zones and markets & have experiences in using ATS such as Greenhouse.
- Comfortable with analyzing recruitment metrics and using data to drive decision-making and improve team performance.
- Deliver against short term demand and anticipated demand, identifying prospective candidates by researching and engaging with talent, effectively utilizing digital and social media channels
