*** This position is a three-month temporary residency with the potential to go full-time immediately following. We are currently accepting applications for the next residency class with a January 2025 start date.

Overview

The Project Management Residency is designed to give individuals an introduction to HOW we plan and execute our vision of modern marketing through the lens of project management and PM’s core-four responsibilities:  money, time, resources, and process. Successful candidates will be eligible for a full time position as a project coordinator managing and delivering on day-to-day work streams.

The ideal candidate has:

  • A desire to learn how key disciplines that work together execute modern marketing (strategy, creative, production, media, analytics, client partnerships, project management, etc)
  • A highly proactive and collaborative nature with an ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
  • An insatiable curiosity and knowledge about all things social, marketing & business
  • An ability to organize ideas and information, think critically about situations, and problem solve in both strategic and creative ways
  • A natural prioritization toward driving two-way communication--active listening and clear verbal and written communication across a variety of mediums--between individuals and groups, including with internal partners and client stakeholders at all levels

Key Areas of Training During Residency:

  • Develop a holistic understanding of roles, responsibilities, and ways of working that uphold VM systems, align with internal and client policies, factor in social best practices, and integrate platform requirements and functionalities
  • Learn key responsibilities and functions of project management around budget, time, resources & process
  • Understand client organizations, roles, key stakeholders, processes, requirements, and macro business goals
  • Absorb and participate in all aspects of a project’s life cycle, from preparing initial pitch materials and brainstorming creative content to engaging community members and providing content analysis
  • Coordinate tasks, priorities and deliverables with team stakeholders (internal and client) throughout the project lifecycle
  • Plan and schedule necessary internal meetings such as kickoffs, brainstorms, and check-ins, reviews, etc; and certain client meetings such as content reviews
  • Assist in the organization and delivery of work to clients for review/approval, and facilitating feedback to internal stakeholders
  • Partner with applicable PM team members to ensure project tracking, team prioritization, process adherence, and on-time delivery
  • Take meeting notes in real time with clarity, capturing key points and next steps for immediate sharing

WORK SCHEDULE:

You must be able to commit to a full-time work schedule, which is 40 hours per week during 9am-6pm PT business hours Monday-Friday. 

Salary: $20.00 per hour
