The PITCH

We’re looking for a Contract Admin to help establish a strong legal foundation in the way we conduct our relationship with our stakeholders. . The accounts are specific to the India market, whilst working closely with our APAC team. This role is pivotal in streamlining our contract lifecycle, from initial drafting to final execution and renewal. The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a keen eye for detail, capable of navigating complex legal landscapes and mitigating potential risks.

This is a full-time role based in India with a reporting role to the Sr. Legal Counsel, APAC based in Singapore.

Here’s where you come in.

  • Your main responsibilities as a Contract Admin will be Strategic Contract Management: Oversee the entire contract lifecycle, from inception to completion, ensuring optimal outcomes for both parties.
  • Risk Mitigation: Identify and address potential legal and commercial risks associated with contracts, protecting the company's interests.
  • Compliance Assurance: Maintain strict adherence to all relevant laws, regulations, and internal policies, minimising compliance-related issues.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, effectively communicating contract terms and expectations.
  • Contract Drafting and Negotiation: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including NDAs, SLAs, and commercial agreements.
  • Risk Assessment: Conduct thorough risk assessments to identify and mitigate potential legal and commercial risks.
  • Compliance Monitoring: Monitor compliance with contract terms and conditions, ensuring adherence to legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with various stakeholders, including legal, finance, and operations teams, to ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Generate regular reports on contract performance, key metrics, and potential issues.
  • System Implementation: Implement and maintain contract management systems to optimise workflow and enhance efficiency.
  • Stay up-to date with legislative changes and coordinate with the legal department as needed
  • Ensure all deadlines and conditions described on contracts are met (e.g. payments and shippings)
  • Maintain organized system of physical and digital records
  • Create language standards for existing and new contracts

Required skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in  law, business administration, or a similar discipline
  • Preference in understanding contract or corporate law will be an advantage Contract drafting and negotiation skills
  • Accuracy and high attention to detail
  • Min 6 months to 1 year experience working as a Contract Admin or a related job role
