The Technical Product Manager role contributes to EIP modernization (Polaris) and is responsible for Analytics and Volatility data products. The Analytic data is the point in time analytical measures derived from the fund/benchmarks and its holdings. This statistical grouping includes measures indicative of diversification, earnings, exchange, interest rate, and valuation risk. The Volatility data contains the point in time analytical measures derived from fund and benchmark returns including but is not limited to Standard Deviation, Sharpe Ratio.
Polaris program is aimed at modernizing the Enterprise Investment Product (EIP) application with a focus on removing our mainframe footprint, enhancing our consumer access to quality product data through the cloud, and optimizing data management capabilities. Responsibilities:
- Provides technical product management services on a product, applying functional technical expertise to improve product results. Participates in the design and continuous improvement of the technical solution.
- Coaches technical product teams towards standard processes and takeaways. Ensures delivery of messaging, communication, and customer outreach as necessary.
- Partners with collaborators to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and supports/drives escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
- Leads the planning, development and implementation of a new technical product. Defines and analyzes technical markets, developing detailed product features and requirements, and developing implementation plans.
- Employs a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
- Participates in and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning and departmental prioritization activities.
- Participates in the team's engineering practices in development, continuous integration, and automated deployment.
- Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Minimum of three years related work experience.
- Two years of managing a project preferred. Financial Services or function-specific experience preferred.
- Experience with developing product strategy, roadmap, and leading product backlog prioritization.
- Proven ability to influence strategy for one or more agile teams.
- Understanding of how to measure product health with OKRs and engaging with product stakeholders.
