As a Senior Accountant within the Corporate Accounting Operations (CAO) Global Facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all Facilities (fixed assets and leases) related expenses are recorded, in accordance with US and International Accounting Standards used for external financial regulatory reporting, tax reporting and internal evaluation of business performance.
The team works closely with internal business partners to understand the business transactions related to our Global Workplace Experience spend and evaluate the information necessary to support the financial statements. The team is responsible for managing the domestic and international corporate accounting operations for the Global Facilities Team within CAO, including preparation of accurate financial information, month end close processes, effective internal controls, and related analysis of business results.

In this role you will:
•Execute all corporate accounting close activities for assigned functional areas. Prepare monthly general ledger account reconciliations and reviews, approve, and post journal entries. Review team's work for accuracy and compliance.
•Be responsible for processes around analysis of domestic and international business operations and obligations to ensure accurate recording of financial position. Assist in the preparation and communication of monthly financial results to management.
•Identify issues independently. Lead efforts to research issues, develop recommendations, resolve complex issues, and implement changes.
•Design, recommend, and implement internal control procedures that ensure proper recording and reporting of financial position and prevent significant errors in accounting records.
•Prepare and produce monthly reports and returns required by the senior management and regulators. Support external auditors during annual audit.
•Coach and provide training to team members to ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks.
•Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
What it takes:
•Minimum of three years related business experience. Financial accounting experience preferred.
•Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. Finance or Accounting degree preferred.
•CPA preferred.
