Responsible for the value and viability of data products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to solve problems that achieve business objectives and enhance data-driven decision-making. The ideal candidate will have over five years of experience in product management and a deep understanding of data infrastructure and cloud solutions.
Core Responsibilities:
1. Data Strategy and Roadmap: Define and execute the vision, strategy, and roadmap for data products, aligning them with business goals and customer needs. Participates in business planning activities.
2. Facilitates and provides recommendations for ongoing business planning to determine feasibility and resource needs and regional prioritization.

3. Customer knowledge: Develop a deep understanding of the users, external and internal, and understands the full range of stakeholder constraints and needs, including Sales, Marketing, Operations, Investment product strategies, and legal and compliance requirements
4. AWS Integration: Leverage AWS services (e.g., S3, Glue, Athena) to manage scalable data products that ensure high availability, performance, and security.
5. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Sales, Marketing, data engineers, data scientists, data analysts, and other stakeholders to identify the problems, define requirements and features, and prioritize the product backlog to drive significant change to the client or user experience.
6. Product Development: Lead the end-to-end product lifecycle from concept to launch, including problem definition, planning, development, testing, and product release. Bring structure to business requests, analyze solutions, translate requirements into an analytical project approach and requirements, develop implementation plans, and lead complex projects through completion.
7. Defect resolution: Partner with stakeholders to resolve production and implementation issues in a timely manner, and support/drive escalations where required to enable rapid delivery.
8. Customer Feedback and Insights: Engage with internal users and customers to gather feedback, understand pain points, and continuously improve the data product experience. Employ a variety of qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques to continually improve the user experience.
9. Performance Monitoring: Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for data products and use data-driven insights to inform product enhancements and drive continuous improvement.
10. Market and solution Research: Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products to ensure our data solutions are innovative and competitive. Seek to bring in appropriate Technology solutions as required to deliver, enhance and evolve our current stack, partnering with global and local Product Managers on strategy and sharing capabilities to unlock opportunities.
11. Documentation and Training: Develop product documentation, user guides, and training materials to support product adoption and user engagement.
12. Problem Solving: Identify and resolve product-related issues, including data discrepancies, performance bottlenecks, and user experience challenges.
13. Other initiatives: Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
• 5+ years of experience in Product Management with data products or cloud-based solutions.
• Financial Services experience preferred and/or knowledge of working with Sales (CRM) and Marketing Channel and Campaign data.
• Strong proficiency with AWS services.
• Solid understanding of data architecture, data pipelines, and data management principles.
• Proven track record of managing the entire product lifecycle, from ideation to launch.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex technical and business challenges.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly capture business requirements, translate into technical solutions, and articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience working in an agile delivery environment .
• Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally and drive collaboration among diverse teams.
