Core Responsibilities
1. Leads large enterprise-wide projects from approval through implementation. Partners with regional PRD teams when appropriate. Coordinates with enterprise-wide cross-functional teams of shared services providers and PRD resources.
2. Develops and maintains project plans. Establishes deadlines and milestones for project completion. Ensures work milestones are met and project goals are achieved.
3. Ensures projects are transitioned from the research team to the implementation team. Provides support for product research projects. Anticipates potential challenges and partners with shared service providers to develop mitigation strategies.
4. Partners with others in PRD, client groups, PR, marketing, and ISG to deploy market strategy. Coordinates the development of communication materials.

5. Identifies opportunities to improve Vanguard's global product implementation process. Provides input on annual product planning process to ensure resource requirements are identified and reflected in the Global Product Plan.
6. Authors documents critical to product launches or changes. Creates and delivers training presentations for the client facing community on occasion.
7. Develops and maintains key senior stakeholder relationships across the organization.
8. Develops and maintains broad and deep knowledge of the asset management industry, market and product, and competitive dynamics. Uses this knowledge to derive and communicate product-related insights at internal forums.
9. Participates in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Eight years related work experience, including five years experience in product management/implementation.
- Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
